Story
Hello my name is Amy! I am 8 yrs old and I am deaf. I am 94 lbs and a complete cuddle bug. I am highly pray driven so I will not do well in a home with small pets. I have experience with young children and know not to jump on people. I also know basic commands like sit, shake paws, stay, down, and roll over. I am also crate and house trained. Unfortunately my pet parents were not able to get me spayed but I am a very good girl. Although I am considered a senior I still have energy to play and can be a good hiking buddy. I love meeting people and getting as many head rubs as possible. ( I might bark at first but I quickly realize I have a new friend). I would love to join your family.

Story
Curtis was found tied to a fence behind a fire department. When we brought him home we discovered his harness had a zipper compartment with a note from the owner. It said he was no longer able to care for him, he is deaf, he was a sweet boy, a dogo argentino, and has a skin condition. He was underweight too. We took him to the vet and he is a very healthy dog now. He gets along well with most dogs, but sometimes has a battle for dominance with our male bulldog. He loves rough playing with a foster female husky we have and they will play outside for hours. Since he is deaf, he has special needs, and is very needy for attention and affection. He prefers to be by your side and feels comforted when being pet. When he is napping, he makes loud whiny noises which is typical of deaf dogs. And makes the funniest grunting noises for attention. He is an indoor dog, but he doesn’t walk, he always moves about quickly and not suited for small kids or elderly he could easily knock over.
