Story
Louie is a big, handsome Dogo Argentino looking for his forever home with the right experienced owner. At 6, he’s settled into exactly who he is: a loyal, low-drama companion who wants nothing more than a warm spot in the sun, a comfortable bed, and his people nearby. He’s not a velcro dog — he won’t climb in your lap — but he will follow you from room to room and absolutely live for a good butt scratch.Louie is a one-pet, adults-preferred household dog. He does not do well with other animals or unfamiliar people, and we want to be fully transparent about that. He is wonderful with his trusted family and has been a devoted, steady presence in our home.He needs an adopter who understands the Dogo breed, has experience with guardian dogs, and can provide clear structure and a calm, secure environment. A quiet home where he can decompress and be loved is all this guy wants.Ideal home: No other pets. Adults or older kids only. Experienced with large/guardian breeds. Secure yard.

Story
FOSTER OR FOREVER HOME NEEDED ❤️ Say hello to Zen! He is a 3 yo, 100lb Dogo Argentino. He came to us as a stray from CA, and so we do not know his history, but he is a happy and active boy that will make his forever family very happy! Zen is a loving and sweet pup and will thrive in the right home. He is bouncy and energetic and will make a great companion for an active and structured home. He loves pets, treats and hanging with his people! We are looking for Dogo or like-breed experienced adopter as he is very strong and does need some training support. He is a big puppy and will need a family that will continue basic obedience. He can get excited and is learning not to jump up. He is very treat and affection motivated, is smart, and he will learn quickly with a committed adopter! Zen has been great with all the people he has met in our rescue so far. He can do well with other dogs but is a little overstimulated in a kennel environment. He will do well in a home that can continue proper socializing. Zen is neutered, UTD on shots and microchipped. His adoption fee is $500.

Story
Meet Skippy! Skippy arrived at WAG after being dumped in a crate outside our gate in an act of desperation. He was terrified, but after being given time to adjust, he is able to show us his true personality. Skippy is a husky/boxer mix and was born in December 2021. He has done well with some similarly sized dogs at WAG after proper introductions, but would not do well in a home with cats (due to a husky's high prey drive), or small children (due to his large size and enthusiastic playing style). He has previously lived with children, so may be okay with older kids in the home. Skippy does take a little time to get used to new people. He would not be a good dog to take to a dog park. Skippy does require a fenced yard to keep him from wandering. He would do best as part of an active family that can help him continue to work on his training and socialization. Visit our website to fill out an Adoption Application http://www.wagsequimwa.com If you have any questions, please email: office@wagsequimwa.com. Most of our dogs require a fully fenced yard, this does depend on the individual dogs needs and safety requirements. Adoption donation fee up to $350 (Please understand this adoption donation goes towards helping all the dogs we rescue) June 15, 2026, 12:05 pm
