Story
Burley is the sweetest happiest boy. He has been the best guard dog. Just recently he has developed food aggression and has nipped our toddler and puppy. We now have to keep him separated from our twin toddlers and our other dogs because of it. When food is not in the vicinity, Burley gets along with all animals. His favorite activity is to go for walks. He is 7 now and has started to get a little on the lazier/stiffer side but when we say walk he acts like a puppy again!

Meet Diamond, Diamond is a typical English Mastiff. She is deeply loyal, affectionate, and mellow with those that she loves and suspicious of strangers. The great news is that treats win her over without too much effort. Once you`re in, she is all soulful brown eyes, soft ears, drooly lips, ready to drag you by leash to whatever she wants to check out. Diamond is easy to re-direct if she is thinking about `getting into things.` You just say `Diamond` and she`ll come right over, grinning and slowly wagging her tail. Diamond will be most successful in an adult only home with children over 18 years old. Diamond has previously lived with a small dog, but due to prey drive, we do not think she would do best with kitties.Given Diamond`s initial suspicion of strangers, we may require multiple meet and greets before she goes home. If you are interested in meeting this lovely mountain of love, please stop by KVHS with all human and canine family members.
