Story
George is a 173 pound 4.5 year old English Mastiff who is a very sweet boy with his people. He is happiest on a couch or bed watching tv or just chilling, and loves laying/sitting where he can see outside. He likes women and kids, but is a little slower to warm up to men. His favorite chew toy is a deer antler and he does great in the house if you leave him out. He is not destructive other than the occasional stuffed animal. George takes prozac (licking behavior) and apoquel (itching) daily. He takes his meds like a champ in a pill pocket or with peanut butter. He would do best in a home with big dog experience as an only dog. A fenced yard would be ideal, although he is not overly active, but has some small prey drive. He attended  a 3 week training program and is pretty good on a leash.  All of our dogs are spayed or neutered, up to date on age appropriate vaccinations, microchipped and if over 6 months of age, heartworm tested and on heartworm preventative in their foster home. We require an approved application to meet any of our dogs. We do not have a shelter location and will not arrange a meeting without an approved application. Story
Are you looking for a BFF for your dog?  Me too!  I’m John Coffey AKA Bowling Ball. One look at my head and you’ll understand my nickname.  I’m approximately 1 year old, neutered male Mastiff mix. I was found on the streets with my parents and siblings. I’m slowly coming out of my shell to trust people. I’m housebroken. I love all of my resident siblings - male and female.  I enjoy playing with them and stealing their toys. I enjoy watching my shows from my spot on the couch.  I’m working on walking on a leash and progressing nicely. I enjoy spending time in my crate relaxing in my space.
