Domestic Longhair kittens & cats in Anchorage, Alaska

In the quiet hours of the late evening movement can be seen emerging from the light of the day. Moving as one the blend of tan, brown, and black flows together as they move silently across the floor. With the flow of their long hair, it’s hard to tell where one starts and the other one ends. This is how they greet the evening. Meet Triste and Chandler! Triste is the beautiful tortoise shell girl and Chandler is the handsome black boy. They are brother and sister around 10 months old and love to play with their toys and other playful cats too. Triste in particular loves to carry around the soft round toy balls and Chandler has a grand time doing kitten antics on the cat tree.Both have shy tendencies, but they are absolute sweethearts and love to be petted and loved on. Chandler loves to have his belly rubbed and Triste loves her cheeks gently scratched. And nighttime is when their playful nature comes to light as they chase, tumble, and play hide and go seek with each other. These two soft fluffballs would do best in a relatively settled quiet home with no young kids and a family that is willing to give them time to adjust to a new home. They don’t mind a nice well- mannered dog either. Being very bonded they will need to be adopted together. Oh Walter.........what a big sweet boy he is. SOOO lovable. How did he end up cold and scared and hungry on the streets of Anchorage in the middle of winter. He cried at a door until the people let him in. And once he was in, he was so frightened of being outside alone again that he hid every time the finder tried to put him out. Instant best friend of the other cat in the house but the finder couldn't keep him and called us. Walter loves having a buddy. He loves hanging out with his friend, playing, snuggling up. It's great to be part of a family. He a gorgeous silky haired boy with a big frame and gentle manner. He is nice, easy boy to love. Whoever adopts this big hunk of kitty will be so lucky. And whatever feline is part of that family will be happy to have a best friend. Kind older kids would have fun with him. Blaze- came into our rescue program at the request of Animal Care and Control because he was very shy in the shelter environment. He is a 4–5-year-old gentle neutered male long haired tabby whose history is unknown to us. Blaze would likely prefer a quiet household where he could build his confidence surrounded by love

This gentle and handsome cat is Thunder. He is a loud boy and will always remind you when he is hungry, or wants some warm snuggles. He does enjoy extended naps where the pillows are fluffed and the cuddles are limitless. Thunder is 10 years old, microchipped, vaccinated, and neutered.
