Harriet is a super–sweet, soft‑voiced 8‑year‑old girl who is ready for her forever family. She loves gentle pets, brushing sessions for her beautiful long fur, and will happily tell you how much she enjoys her canned food, treats, and snack time. She’s good with friendly, respectful dogs (she currently lives with one) and can live with other cats as long as she gets a very slow, patient introduction. Harriet entertains herself with toys when you’re busy, but she also enjoys hanging out nearby once she’s decided you’re safe. She’ll need a calm, mostly‑adult home (older kids ok) that understands she’ll take a few months to fully settle in and show you her cuddly, goofy side. If you’re a patient family who lets a cat adjust at her own pace, Harriet will be your loyal, fluffy shadow.
