Story
Love is in the air… and these little cuties are ready! Say hello to Pippy and Ziggy - sister and brother. As they were the only kittens in this litter, they are very bonded with one another and would like to join a family together. Pippy possesses confidence which makes her more willing to explore any unknown. She is quick to stand up for herself if approached by one of the bossier housemates in her current foster home. Ziggy is a bit more cautious and will approach only after his sister has done so first. Ziggy loves all his kitty housemates and goes to each one of them to touch noses and rub against them. He is not a fan of being picked up or held, but he may become more comfortable over time. He will sit/lay beside you however when you invite him to do so. At five months of age, they are perfectly balanced for time playing with appropriate kitten toys and understanding the rules of the house. These little sweeties will make a wonderful addition to any family looking for love this Valentine’s Day, and all year long. We don’t know how they are with dogs but think they would do fine around a mellow dog . They will need a safe yard to enjoy the long summer days that we know are just around the corner. In Palmer. Please call 907-350-8089. Thank you!

Story
Cashew is about 6-7 months old, and has had a pretty tough life so far for how young he is, but you’d never know it with how quickly he warms up to people. He came into the rescue very malnourished and lethargic, and his kitten energy is showing up more and more now that he has consistent access to food! He has quite the engine for purring and an endearing croaky meow that he uses when he’d like you to know he wants some company. He is a confident little guy and was roaming the house as soon as he moved in. Cashew adores affection! His ideal activities include lying in your lap, making biscuits, and head butting for pets - usually all at once! He did not have access to toys before he was rescued and seems perplexed about the purpose of toys, but is starting to learn how fun it is to play. Since he is so young, he would be best with another cat buddy in his new home to show him the ropes, however because he has had to compete with other cats for food before he was rescued, he may not be interested in being friends right away. He has learned that other cats might be a threat to him, so he does a lot of warning grumbles/hisses to other cats (or his own reflection in the mirror). We think he would do best with a confident cat who can give him some space, teach him that other cats aren’t a threat to him, but won’t be too intimidated by his little gremlin grumbles. He does fine with nice dogs. Cashew will need a safe place to go outside with his family with summer comes. He will be great fun in the yard. He's in Anchorage. Call 907 980-8898

Story
Poppy Seed is a fierce little boy who loves to wrestle and play with his brothers. A big foodie at heart, he proudly believes he’s a mighty hunter, especially when stalking his toy mice! He has a beautiful long coat with soft gray tones underneath. Despite his tough-guy energy, Poppy Seed is incredibly affectionate and loves cuddles and attention. He gets along wonderfully with other cats and dogs and loves to cuddle in a pile with his brothers: Pistachio Berry, male, black Butter Croissant, male, orange These wonderful kittens must have a kitty friend in their new home unless they are adopted in pairs or for more fun all 3! All of them are around 3 months old. A safe yard to go out and enjoy time with their family for some fun in the sun is a must for these angels! They are in Wasilla. Please call 907-350-8089. Thank you!

Story
Scooter! This little guy will “scoot” his way right into your heart! His little kitty "coos" and chill attitude bring a special addition to the home. Scooter loves playing with toys and enjoys snuggling up close. Despite being born with a spinal deformity, he shows little limitations when it comes to climbing the cat tower or jumping into bed at night. He has been checked by the vet and has been given the all-clear. He may experience some arthritis later in life and would benefit from a supplement to help with any joint pain. He can move quicker than you can blink when he gets his kitty zoomies or hears the treat container shake. Scooter is so sweet and handsome. He uses a litter box with no concerns and loves his morning wet food and kibble throughout the day. He plays like he’s part of the pack with all 3 dogs and the other cat. He would do best with a kitty friend, and nice dogs are just fine too! He does great with gentle children too. A family that has the time to give him extra love and attention is a must. Since he does drag/scoot on his back leg’s majority of the time gets a quick bath for his backside on a weekly basis which he is very good about. If his new home doesn’t have carpet, rugs will need to be provided for him so he can get around the house easily. He deserves to be able to spend some time outside in the fresh air and sunshine, but he will need a home with a safe outdoor enclosure or he will need to supervised all the time he is outside! He is about 1 year old and in Wasilla. Please call 907-350-8089.
