Story
WillaBelle was brought to us by a neighbor after her owner passed away. She is currently in a foster home and trying very hard to be brave and start over with new people. Although WillaBelle is shy and hides in the beginning, she is gentle and loves scratches around her ears. WillaBelle is enthusiastic about being petting and has a big purr engine that will let you know that she loves every bit of it. She will need a patient, quiet adult home where she can have lots of time to acclimate and adjust to a new life. WillaBelle might enjoy one friendly cat as a role model. Won't you consider giving this shy, 5-year-old sweetie a loving home. WillaBelle has long, black fur. She is current on vaccinations, tested negative for FeLV/FIV, is spayed and is microchipped. Our adoption fee for one altered adult cat (1 year to 7 years old) is $85 which helps cover expenses (vaccinations, spay/neuter, food, housing) for the homeless pets United Animal Friends rescues. There is a discounted adoption fee for a second cat that is adopted at the same time. If you have any questions or to adopt a cat from United Animal Friends (UAF) an application must be filled out. Filling out this form does not obligate you to adopt, but gives us the information needed to make sure the pet is suited to your home. From the Petfinder website (Petfinder.com) click the 'More About Us Button' and then click on the 'Adoption Application' button that will take you to the United Animal Friends website. Then follow the UAF website directions below: From the United Animal Friends website: Select "Adoptable Cats" and pick the cat you are interested in. To apply to adopt, open the cat's profile, and click the gray "Apply for Adoption" button to get started. The fastest way to get to the adoptable cat page is to copy and then paste this link into your browser: https://unitedanimalfriends.org/adoptable-cats/ A United Animal Friends representative will contact you soon after receiving the application form. Story
"Meet Thorin: The Majestic Tabby Cat Ready to Steal Your Heart" and your lap.Hello there, my name is Thorin and I am a 2-year-old male Domestic Mediumhair weighing in at a solid 9 pounds. I was transferred to this shelter from a rescue partner along with my best friend, Orange Julius. My shelter friends describe me as a handsome and magnificent cat with medium-length tabby hair.I may be small in size, but my energy level is anything but! I love to play and stay active, but I also have a chill and laid-back side. My favorite pastime is spending the day napping in a patch of warm sunlight or playing with my dear friend, Orange Julius.I am a discerning cat when it comes to making new friends, but once you earn my trust, I am a loyal and loving companion. I have a clever and curious personality, and I am quite independent and quiet. But don't let my calm demeanor fool you, I am always up for some fun and adventure.I get along well with other cats, and I absolutely adore my best friend Orange Julius. We spend every day grooming, cuddling, and playing together. If you have room in your heart and home for two feline friends, we would love to stay together. My special trait is being FIV+, but don't let that scare you. I'm healthy and thriving, and I don't let my chronic condition stop me from living life to the fullest. I am determined to have an exciting, fun, and full life, and I hope to find a family who will support me in doing so. Check out this website to learn more about how special us FIV+ kitties are: https://resources.bestfriends.org/article/fiv-cats-faqs-feline-immunodeficiency-virusI may have some unique needs, but I promise to shower you with love, laughs, and endless entertainment. If you are searching for a clever, curious, and easygoing cat to join your family, then come meet me, Thorin. I can't wait to meet you and show you just how special I am.I am fixed, up to date on vaccines, microchipped and ready to go home with you, so please come visit me!Please call between 10am-4pm to schedule an appointment to meet one of our animals! 928-282-4679
