Story
Simba and his housemate, Kulo (listed separately), were brought to UAF when their family had to suddenly move and the new location did not allow cats. Simba is a big handsome boy who is affectionate and sweet. He seems okay with other cats and likes to give head butts just like a big lion (might be where his name came from). Simba and Kulo are best friends and would do best in a home together. Simba is a 2-year-old, long hair, brown tabby who is current on vaccinations, tested negative for FeLV/FIV, is neutered and is microchipped. Our adoption fee for one altered adult cat (1 year to 7 years old) is $85 and for two altered adult cats is $105 which helps cover expenses (vaccinations, spay/neuter, food, housing) for the homeless pets United Animal Friends rescues. If you have any questions or to adopt a cat from United Animal Friends (UAF) an application must be filled out. Filling out this form does not obligate you to adopt, but gives us the information needed to make sure the pet is suited to your home. From the Petfinder website (Petfinder.com) click the ‘More About Us Button’ and then click on the ‘Adoption Application’ button that will take you to the United Animal Friends website. Then follow the UAF website directions below: From the United Animal Friends website: Select "Adoptable Cats" and pick the cat you are interested in. To apply to adopt, open the cat's profile, and click the gray "Apply for Adoption" button to get started. The fastest way to get to the adoptable cat page is to copy and then paste this link into your browser: https://unitedanimalfriends.org/adoptable-cats/ A United Animal Friends representative will contact you soon after receiving the application form. 🐾 Will You Be My Forever Fur-iend? 🐾 Hi there, I’m Miss Jane, a sweet and dreamy lady ready to fill your life with love and companionship! 💕 I came to High Country Humane when my previous owner couldn’t provide the home I needed, but I’m not looking back—just forward to my furever family. 🏡✨ Here’s what I can’t wait to do in my new home: 🌞 Birdwatch from your windows (it’s my favorite pastime!) 😺 Bask in warm sunbeams and feel the cozy vibes. 🛏️ Take the sweetest catnaps in the fluffiest beds. I’m a bit shy when we first meet, but with patience and love, I’m blossoming more every day. My foster says I’m becoming more loving and active, and I know I’ll thrive in a home that understands me. Could you be my purr-fect match? Let’s start our forever together! 🐾💖 Contact my foster to meet me at (623) 695-7023! Oh, and I'm told you may want to know these things: I'm fixed, microchipped, and up-to-date on my vaccines. I also need to go home in a carrier. If you have one of your own, please bring it with you just in case! If you don't bring one, you can easily pick up a cardboard carrier onsite for just $10!
