Story
Finn is a senior sweetheart looking for a forever family who understands his special needs. This beautiful grey and white domestic long hair cat is the sweetest . He loves cuddles, and he's very affectionate. Finn will require a medical consultation with our on-site veterinarian before being adopted as he is diabetic and will require daily insulin. Because of his special diet, he will need to be the only cat in the home. Finns estimated DOB is 1/1/2016. If you have been looking to care for an animal with special medical needs, please stop by the shelter and meet sweet Finn! He would love to spend the rest of his life in your care! There is a mandatory consultation with our veterinarian before he can be adopted. Our adoption fee is $125 for small breed dogs under 20 pounds and $100 for all other dogs and cats unless otherwise noted in their bio. Every pet available for adoption is current on shots spayed/neutered, and microchipped. You may submit an application online for pre-approval and to set an appointment or you can visit the shelter Wednesday - Sunday from 11am - 5pm. Please note that the kennels close for pet viewing at 4:30pm.

Story
God's Dogs Rescue plus Kitties does NOT transport any cats or kittens in or out of the state of Texas. It is too stressful for the cats or kittens to be transported long distances, especially when enclosed in a vehicle containing dogs and puppies. Thank you for your understanding. Look at that beautiful face! Cardamom is a unique long-haired solid white boy with piercing blue eyes. His beginnings were humble and humanless. When he first arrived at his foster mom's house, he was terrified. But with a little patience and a lot of love, Cardamom has blossomed into a purring machine. Card, on first meeting, can be very shy but as soon as he realizes he is going to be petted, he melts. He keeps his beautiful coat VERY clean and his tail is best described like a feather duster. Card will definitely require time to acclimate in his new home but his new parent(s) will be richly rewarded with a loyal and sweet fur companion!

It is too stressful for the cats or kittens to be transported long distances, especially when enclosed in a vehicle containing dogs and puppies. Thank you for your understanding. Hockney's story in pictures: Hockney is a loving, warm kitten who is a little quieter than his brothers. He's very active but just doesn't trumpet his conquests as much as his siblings. The pictures depict Hockney asking for HEB Lone Star crackers, helping himself to the bag, licking his lips for crumbs and then satisfied because he got a cracker! (He takes his crackers to the food bowl for eating.) Please note that he isn't covered in household dust--that is cracker dust! Hockney also likes to sleep on his back--partly because the floor is cool and partly because he loves to have his belly rubbed Hockney deserves his very own furever home where he can love his humans and be loved by them!

Story
Rosie is a sweet little girl with a big heart.  She’s very petite. She has short munchkin legs. She has beautiful long hair and bushy tail with Gorgeous green eyes. She’s very Timid and Shy and very quiet. She takes a little bit to warm up to her human but once she does she’s very loving. She doesn’t like loud noises. She stays to herself. She’s very independent and loves other cats. She wouldn’t do well as an only cat.  She needs someone to be patient with her and show her how to trust and love. She would do great in a quiet home. She’s not a lap cat but you can pick her up and hold her.  Not sure how she is with dogs because she’s never been around any but couldn’t be a loud barking one because she’s scared of loud noise. Probably do best with older well mannered children. Indoor only. Rosie is looking for her furever home ##2568210##

Story
She’s a true grandma at heart—calm, gentle, and happiest when life is quiet and peaceful. Chaos isn’t her style; she prefers laying around, relaxing, and enjoying a cozy environment. Toys don’t usually interest her, though she’ll occasionally entertain herself with a hair tie.   She may be a bit shy at first, but she warms up very quickly and becomes incredibly loving. One of her sweetest habits is her instinct to cuddle—whenever she sees someone napping, she’ll come curl up and rest alongside them. She is exceptionally kind and gentle and would never bite or scratch.   She does well with low-energy dogs and even enjoys cuddling with elderly pups. However, she would do best as the only cat in the home, as she does not care for other cats.   Her favorite treats are Temptations squeeze treats, she loves being brushed, and her absolute favorite activity is sunbathing in a warm spot.   If you’re looking for a soft-hearted, low-key companion who will bring quiet love and comfort into your home, she’s truly special.   ##2613388##
