Meet Kessie - A Gentle Soul Ready for Her Retirement HomeKessie is a sweet senior girl with a soft spirit and a heart full of quiet affection. She came from a property with many other cats, so she's used to sharing her space and observing the world from a comfortable distance. At first, Kessie can be a little shy, but once she feels safe, her gentle personality shines through. This lovely lady isn't looking for much - just a calm, peaceful home where she can enjoy her golden years with people who appreciate a mellow companion. She would thrive in a low‑stress environment with patient adopters who understand that trust takes time, but the reward is a deeply loyal and tender friend. If you're looking for a serene, soft‑spoken cat to share your quiet moments with, Kessie may be the perfect match. She's ready to settle into her well‑deserved retirement and would love nothing more than a cozy spot, a kind human, and a life filled with gentle care. Story
Tessa is a stunning long-haired tuxie with a tender heart and a luxurious coat that turns heads wherever she goes. After losing her beloved owner, she has blossomed beautifully in one of our wonderful foster homes. Though she can be shy at first, patience goes a long way-once she feels safe, her sweet and affectionate personality shines. From her foster mom:"Although she starts out timid, she gains confidence the longer she's out exploring. After roaming the house, she settles on the couch beside me, and that's when the purring starts. She's become much more playful, too! Mornings start with breakfast followed by an hour-long cuddle in the rocking chair. Evenings are her playtime-she loves to bat around a ball, leap onto the cat tower or window sill, and burn off her energy. Afterward, she always comes for cuddles and a brushing. Her coat is just beautiful now! She even enjoys having her claws trimmed."Tessa is on a special diet, and her gorgeous long coat will need regular grooming to keep it healthy and tangle-free. A calm, quiet home where she can settle in at her own pace would be ideal. With gentle care and patience, she will reward you with companionship, cuddles, and her growing confidence. If you're looking for a loving, soft-hearted companion who enjoys both playtime and quiet snuggles, Tessa might be your perfect match. Please submit an application through the link below for this lovely lady!https://spca.bc.ca/adoption/cat-pre-adoption-questionnaire/ Primary Color: Black Secondary Color: White Weight: 5.17 Age: 4yrs 3mths 2wks
