Story
So you happened across our perfect prince Goose, lucky you!Goose came to us as a stray and needed a fully body shave due to being heavily matted! During his time with us, staff and volunteers have fallen head over heals for this hilarious boy. You can't help but fall in love with his giant personality. Goose knows what he likes, and what he doesn't, and he's not shy to tell you about it! Goose's absolute favourite thing is to be complimented, he loves to hear (in baby talk) that he is the most handsome cat in the whole world. Goose will curl up in your lap, stare at you lovingly, and loves a good scritch. He loves lounging outside in our cat courtyard, he would love a home with some safe outdoor access such as a catio. Goose would prefer a quiet, adult only home (or one with older teens) as he does not like the quick motions and loud sounds that come with young kids! Goose has made it crystal clear to us that he does NOT like dogs! He may do well with another social, friendly kitty! While we think Goose is so very handsome, he does love his treats a little too much and his new adopters must be willing to continue his weight loss plan so he can become his very best self!Thank you for your interest in adopting! Do you think you could be Goose's person? Apply today!Friendly tip: If you're looking for a surefire way to make your application to stand out, consider telling us a little bit about yourself in the "anything else you'd like us to know?" section! Story
Meet Madison, a beautiful and persnickety lady who came into our care from a large intake in Northern BC. Madison's personality is as unique as her journey; sometimes she craves love and affection, and other times she prefers her solitude. Growing up in a very large group, Madison is still getting used to the comforts of a home environment and can be uncertain around new people, loud noises, and commotion. This lovely lady will need some time to adjust to her new surroundings, but with patience, treats, and of course, your love, Madison will settle in beautifully. We are confident that Madison will blossom into the purr-fect companion for someone willing to give her the time and space she needs. If you're looking for a cat with a bit of mystery and a whole lot of potential, Madison might just be your ideal match. Will you be the one to help Madison find her forever home? Story
594020 'Lance' arrived into our care as a very underweight stray. He is currently on a very rigid re-feeding program to help get him back to a healthy weight. This handsome boy is super friendly, LOVES people and of course, is food motivated. Having found himself living alone on the streets, it's best that he be trained to live a long life as an indoor cat. He will require regular brushing to maintain his coat. Lance will be a welcome companion to most households. Do you think you could be Lance's person? Here are some ways to find out:1. Visit our centre to meet this pet during viewing hours at 3202 Norland Ave, learn more abouttheir ideal match and apply to adopt in person; or2. Submit an online application adopt.spca.bc.ca and staff will contact the first suitable adopter toset-up a visit!
