Story
Nora is a domestic longhair who was originally brought into our care in November of 2018!She was adopted that year and recently returned this May due to unwanted behaviors starting in the home. She is a SUPER sweet girl and may be intimidating with her size but, we promise you.. she is just a big teddy bear! She LOVESSSS people and will roll around non-stop for attention and belly rubs! We do recommend her to go into a home where she will be the only kitty but she may do just fine with one other cat in the home. We do not recommend a home with dogs. If you are interested in meeting Nora, please submit an application at www.valleyanimal.orgAt Valley Animal Center our mission is to unite dogs and cats with loving people. Primary Color: Grey Secondary Color: White Weight: 13.65 Age: 5yrs 9mths 2wks

Story
McQueen is a domestic longhair who was originally brought into our care in October 2023.He wandered on to our property and was very feral when first arriving but staff treated him like the king he is and started his socialization and check in process! His social skills improved drastically and he is now the biggest sweetheart! He LOVES ear scratches and is the biggest cuddle bug! Mcqueen was discovered to be FIV+, meaning his immune system is weaker than a normal cat his age would be. This does not affect his lifespan at all and he is still a very healthy boy! Mcqueen is required to go into an indoor only home with either no other cats or only other FIV+ cats.If you are interested in meeting big teddy bear, please submit an application at www.valleyanimal.orgAt Valley Animal Center our mission is to unite dogs and cats with loving people. Primary Color: White Secondary Color: Orange Tabby Weight: 12.64 Age: 4yrs 3mths 3wks

Story
Rescued from a high Kill shelterSir Sebastian came to our rescue from a High Kill Shelter he did test  FIV+ at the shelter. fiv isn't a death sentence to a cat or a reason to kill a other wise healthy cat. he is beautiful and just beyond loving. He loves to talk to you and just loves to be around humans. Sir Sebastian has a lot of love to give to a family. Sir Sebastian very sweet and loving and has been around kids and just loves playing with kids, Very playful and active. Great with the litter box!  Micro-chipped wormed flea treatment shots and have been fixed. If your interested please contact our rescue. Sir Sebastian will be lots of love to his new loving family. He is a beauty in person. He is beyond friendly and such a pretty boy with his long Grey and White fur just beautiful. If you are interested in meeting Sir Sebastian please contact our rescue. Cat and Dog Friendly, He is 2 years old We currently have in our adoption area at our rescue many cats all running freely in our adoption area waiting for there forever homes. We try to keep up to date our cats currently up for adoption listed. But we S/N weekly and try to add our updates of cats weekly. But there are still many cats we have up for adoption that may not have been listed yet. All our cats up for adoption come from High Kill Shelters that have a very short time at the Kill Shelter prior to being put down. By adopting from our rescue it makes room for us to pull more cats from the High Kill Shelters and keeping them from being put down at the kill shelter. We don't take in any private owned cats. Just shelter cats for there life at the Kill shelter is very short before being put down. Our rescue is a no kill rescue! We work hard to get our cats ready for adoptions. If you would like to meet all our cats up for adoption please contact us 559-412-7226. We are by appointments only! We are a rescue, not a shelter. We do not kill any animals here at our rescue. In fact, we do not advocate the killing of animals and wish all shelters would adopt a 'no kill' policy. Many of the animals that we rescue end up living out their days here, as some are not adoptable, which may be due to their age, medical issues, socialization issues, or inability to handle children or other animals. Some are also pets that have been unwanted by relatives when their owners have passed on. We try to facilitate the adoption of all animals referred to us that we feel would be good companions. Also, we try to help those that are in transition to find foster homes while they are seeking permanent adoption. You should know that we are very selective about which animals we bring into our rescue so that they will adapt well with the ones already residing here. We have wonderful kittens and adult cats ready for adoption. Please contact us to arrange an appointment. We work with many rescue groups in helping the public to understand the meaning of a feral cat and the TNR (trap and release) program. We also offer help to those people who are interested in starting a TNR program in their area. Feral cats don't need to be killed...and I can't express that enough! We do not support any program that kills feral cats. We are backed by the PETA and Alley Cats organization, and we work from donations and volunteer help. The very sad part of being in rescue... is that this is what we see every day walking into the shelter's knowing they will all die in a few days. Its hard to be in rescue and see this every single day over and over... it takes a toll on us all dealing with trying to save a life. Then the question is who do we save and who do we leave behind? Our rescue never leaves family members behind NEVER !!January 6, 2024, 12:07 am

Story
I have two (2) cats, brothers from the same litter, approximately 7 years old that were dropped off at my house. I was only supposed to have them temporarily and it turned into a permanent situation. I am moving and cannot take them. They are both sweet cats with loving demeanor, no behavior concerns. This cat is Mimi. He is great with kids of all ages, friendly, and gets along well with other cats and dogs (he thinks he is a dog himself). Mimi doesn't need a lot of attention; however, he will never turn away cuddles. Currently he is an in-door cat only because we live in the country, but he has been an indoor/outdoor cat before. He is good in the house alone when we are out and does not tear anything up.

These pups are in Fresno, California too!

Story
Sweet Becky was adopted from us twice in the last 3 years she was originally adopted as a kitten and returned 7 years later, and then she was just returned again after 3 years because her human mom is moving where he cannot have a pet. She only has one eye (the other was removed from an unknown injury years ago.) We're told that she purrs, loves attention and is a lap cat but can be quite frightened by loud noises, new situations. She is a overwhelmed and stressed in her new environment, but will still accept pets. She likes to wrap herself in blankets like a cocoon to feel safe. We think she would do best in a quiet home with people who are willing to give her a chance to warm up, feel comfortable and blossom. This senior girl deserves another chance at love, doesn't she? Please note: Becky is shown as a Maine Coon Mix based solely on her appearance. We rarely take in purebred animals, so virtually all of them are a mix of several breeds. Do not make an adoption decision based only on our breed designation, especially if you are concerned about allergies. Becky is a Special Needs cat.Becky would do best as an only childMore information & application [ts=1722027788&src=aap]
