Story
Meet Mamita, a beautiful domestic long-haired gray and white kitty who is just over a year old and ready to find her forever home! This sweet girl made the journey from the lively streets of Puerto Rico, where she was discovered as a tiny kitten at just two months old. Thanks to a kind-hearted person, she received the care she needed and is now looking for a loving family. Mamita is a champion at lounging on her cat tree and loves to gaze out the window, watching the world go by. She's incredibly friendly and gets along wonderfully with kids, other cats, and small dogs. While she is leukemia positive, she would thrive in a home with another leukemia-positive kitty who is seeking a companion. With her gentle spirit and affectionate nature, Mamita is sure to fill your home with love and joy. If you're looking for a special feline friend who will bring happiness into your life, Mamita is ready to snuggle up and become part of your family! If you are interested in Mamita, please complete an adoption application. The application is available at our website at https://loveforcats.org/adopt. Love for Cats does not have a physical shelter. All our cats are located in hand-picked foster homes in South Florida. Adoption fees are $150-$200 for kittens and $100 for adult cats. The fee includes spaying/neutering, deworming, age-appropriate vaccination, testing for Feline Leukemia and Feline Immunodeficiency Virus and a microchip. Must be 21 and meet adoption requirements.

TONTO - Available for adoption! You can apply for Tonto at www.ladyluckanimalrescue.org under the “Adopt/Foster” Tab.  Tonto's estimated date of birth is 3/20/2025. Meet Tonto – A Brave Little Fighter with a Heart of Gold Rescued from: Palm Beach Animal Care & Control (PBCAC) Coat: Long-Haired Orange and White Tabby Medical Miracle: Survived critical anemia with an emergency blood transfusion and made a full recovery after the removal of a large polyp above his soft palate. Personality: Confident, affectionate, and endlessly sweet. Tonto has already overcome incredible odds—and he’s come out the other side stronger and happier than ever. Rescued from Palm Beach Animal Care & Control after being surrendered from a cat-hoarding situation (17 cats were removed that day), Tonto was in desperate need of help. The very next day, he was rushed to the vet and received an emergency blood transfusion that saved his life. Since then, he’s healed completely—including a successful non-surgical procedure to remove a large polyp above his soft palate—and he’s now thriving in his foster home. Tonto’s soft, luxurious orange coat matches his golden personality perfectly. He’s affectionate, social, and loves attention. Whether he’s chasing toys, exploring new spaces, or curling up beside you for a nap, Tonto approaches every moment with gentle curiosity and joy. Tonto is a resilient, loving kitten who’s ready for the bright future he’s fought so hard to reach. Fully vetted and full of heart, he’s now just missing one thing—a forever home to call his own. Could you be the one to give this brave, beautiful boy the happy ending he deserves? Tonto is neutered, microchipped, FIV/FeLV tested negative, fecal tested negative, dewormed and has all appropriate vaccinations.  He is litter box trained. Tonto is being fostered in Pompano Beach, FL.  For more information contact ladyluckanimalrescue@gmail.com or text 754-366-3669. Story
MINEY – Available for adoption! You can apply for Miney at www.ladyluckanimalrescue.org under the “Adopt/Foster” tab. Miney’s date of birth is approximately May 28, 2025. Meet Miney! This little girl was rescued from a condo planter alongside her siblings, Eenie and Meenie, and is now ready to find a forever home of her own. Miney is a beautiful long-haired brown tabby—possibly a Maine Coon mix—with a soft, downy coat and big, soulful eyes that seem to take everything in. Miney is the shy one of the trio—she prefers to observe the world quietly from a cozy hiding spot before deciding it’s safe to come out. But once she trusts you, she melts into the gentlest, most loving little companion. She adores treats, soft pets, playtime, and curling up beside another calm cat for comfort. Miney would thrive in a peaceful home with patient adopters who will give her time to blossom at her own pace. She gets along well with other friendly cats and would do especially well with a confident feline friend to help her feel secure. Fully vetted and ready for adoption, Miney is looking for a home where she can feel safe, loved, and understood—a place where her soft heart can shine. Could you be the one to help this tender little girl come out of her shell and discover just how wonderful life can be? Miney is spayed, microchipped, FIV/FeLV tested negative, fecal tested negative, dewormed and has all age appropriate vaccinations including rabies. She is litter box trained. Miney is being fostered in Pompano Beach, FL.  For more information contact ladyluckanimalrescue@gmail.com or text 754-366-3669. You can apply at ladyluckanimalrescue.org under the “Adopt/Foster” Tab. November 12, 2025, 11:59 am
