You can fill out an adoption application online on our official website.Ohannah was rescued as a very young kitten by a young sweet couple.  They have raised Ohannah for a few months now and she is sweet and healthy. They love her very much and it was hard for them, but felt that their home was not the best fit. They have two very rambunctious dogs that make Ohannah uncomfortable. So they asked us to take her in to our rescue. Ohannah's foster home is quiet, but Ohannah does not appear to like other pets at all.  She needs to be queen of her household! Ohannah is a sweet lap kitty and just as gorgeous.  She has the longest whiskers and a beautiful coat that will require daily brushing, which is a great bonding tool. You can fill out an adoption application online on our official website.Thackery Binx was surrendered to PRBJ due to his family moving and they were unable to bring him with them.  He was then adopted and returned again after his owner passed away. He went into foster to let him settle and below is what his foster has said about him...We have had no problems with Binx. Everyone who has met him likes him, he's behaved well, he does normal cat things. He's eating well and uses the litter box. When he needs calm or is anxious he prefers to go under the bed. Loves to sleep in the bathroom sink. He is friendly and affectionate and will play whenever he is approached to play.  He will grab at brushes and combs so we recommend no young children and as he is independent we would like him to go to a home where he is the only cat.  He also knows how to open lever door handles so round door handles are required or locks on doors where he wouldn't be allowed. Foster Update 2/1/24:Thackery Binx is a magnificent cat! He is a fabulous companion and wants to be with you, yet he does not require a lot of attention, just your presence. He appears calm, steadfast, and is great company...And then there is Binx at play! He loves, just loves vigorous and exciting play. His favorite is a fishing rod toy whipping around for him to chase. He is fast, agile and strong. Binx is well mannered-he stays off kitchen counters and does not pester anyone eating. He is intelligent and learns quickly. Binx is friendly and affectionate, yet only wants to be in your lap for a couple of minutes. He enjoys petting, then will jump down and remain happily in your presence.He loves to lay on his back but does not like his belly touched. He will grab at brushes/combs, or your hand and 'play bite' so he is not a good match for children. Binx is looking for for someone to enjoy his 'trill' of greeting and share his days for his lifetime. He is confident, playful, and loves his toys.  He loves his sisters Ella and Jill.  Jack is great around my household cats too.   They play, cuddle, wrestle, and run around all day! Jack is gorgeous and will have long fur.   The adoption fee is $40 and includes, the first sets of vaccines, microchip, rabies, FIV/FELV testing, and neuter surgery.  Kittens do better in pairs, and Jack would absolutely love to be adopted with his sisters Jill and/or Ella.  He definitely needs a playmate! Meet Romeo! hes about 5 years old. I’ve had Romeo since he was kitten and he’s strictly an indoor cat. General behavior: Romeo can be very shy & get anxious but he just needs some time to warm up. Hes very to himself but likes to be petted here and there. Romeo needs someone very patient and is willing to get to know his personality. Likes & dislikes: Romeo enjoys treats, naps and loves to rub against you while letting out sweet purrs but does not like being petted for to long. He’ll let you know when he needs his space. Home: Romeo would be best in a home where there aren’t any children or multiple pets involved as he does tend to get very anxious, but he’s getting a bit more comfortable with slow introductions. Romeo is pretty well behaved he’s very vocal when he’s hungry. 🙂 Romeo is longing to find his furever home. ❤️🐱

Sophie is a precious 8 month old female kitty. She is a long haired girl with a beautiful chocolate color. She lived in a home with a dog previously and did well. She recently came to our shelter and is a bit unsure of the new environment but does like to receive attention. With some time, Sophie will come out of her shell and make a wonderful companion.
