Story
Ariel is a lovely long haired white cat with a gray patch on her forehead.  She was a stray with 4 little kittens but has become so friendly and happy indoors that we will be getting her a home.   She'd like to go to a dog free home.   She is FeLK/FIV negative and spayed.  All Ayla's cats must be indoor only and declawing is not allowed.   A home visit is required and there is a small adoption fee.  If you are interested in adopting this pretty lady, please go to Aylasacres.org and submit an adoption application. ##1731429##

Good with cats,
Story
Mercy was brought to us from a staff member of the motel we live in. The staff member was caring for the kitten after it was found abandoned in the parking lot. The staff member was let go from the motel team and unable to care for the kitten any longer. With hopes of keeping the kitten, we nursed and raised him the past 3 months. However, the motel has a strict no pet policy and has allowed us to keep him long enough to open his eyes, develop a personality and a routine home life. We can no longer keep the kitten and he must be rehomed. He was a great addition at the time, because 2 weeks prior we received a kitten and named him Favor (Gray Shorthair) They love each other very much and have a strong brother bond. It would be ideal for them to be adopted together. Mercy is calm and a snuggle bug - his favorite toy is a feather wand. He likes pets, loves to eat and is as soft as velvet. He also loves being around water! He is between 4-5 months old.

Story
He’s such a sweetie but unfortunately he is scared of our older dog. She thinks it’s a game to try and chase and torment him and I feel so bad because he hides in our cabinets and only comes out at night when the dog is upstairs. We have another cat and dog that he’s great with and would love for him to be in a home where he can be out instead of constantly hiding.

Story
We found Jasper when he was a tiny kitten. He is about 13 years old now. He is a very sweet, loving, drooly cat. He is a bit of a scaredy cat but really opens up once he is comfortable. He is great with children although he will stand up for himself if needed. He has swatted at my daughter a few times but has never left more than a small scratch. He gets defensive towards other cats until he gets to know them. We have had other cats with him in the past and after the first week or two there was no issue. He is a bit of a special one when it comes to needs. He is allergic to fleas so he will need to be an indoor only cat. He has hyperthyroidism that is controlled with medication and blood work every 6 months. He has no issues taking medication and lets me open his mouth to put the pill in his mouth with no problems. He doesn’t do great with grains or seafood in his food. He needs to be brushed often or he gets hairballs because of his long fur.
