I may need a bit of help with some things, like bathroom time, but I’m getting better every day and with the right patience, I’ll continue to improve. Selesta and Her Six Small Miracles Selesta arrived at the shelter with nothing but hope—and a belly full of babies. She was homeless, pregnant, and desperately in need of help. This beautiful Snowshoe Siamese mother-to-be had no idea her life was about to change forever. Just as rescuers from Small Lives Matter Kitten Rescue arrived to take her to safety, Selesta went into labor right there at the shelter. She gave birth to six tiny miracles before being moved to a quiet foster home, where she and her kittens could rest, grow, and thrive in safety and love. Together, Selesta and her six kittens; girls Sequin, Senova and Sesame and boys Seymour, Seville and Seph are a beautiful symbol of resilience, hope, and love. Each one has a distinct personality and charm, but all share the same gentle, trusting nature that makes this family so special. Whether you are drawn to Selesta’s calm grace or her kittens’ joyful energy, they are all ready to bring warmth, laughter, and love into their forever homes. Sequin Sequin is a female medium-haired black kitten with soft fur that shimmers with deep brown tones in the light. She has extra toes on some of her paws, which give her the appearance of wearing tiny mittens—a semi-polydactyl beauty. Sequin is gentle, affectionate, and loves to be held. Meet Ainsley & Ainsbury Born September 7, 2025 These two fluffy miracles have already lived a lifetime of challenges—and they’re only a few months old. Ainsley and Ainsbury were picked up by Animal Control after being found struggling to survive. Another rescue initially took them in but quickly realized these tiny neonates needed intensive, around-the-clock care and returned them. That’s when Small Lives Matter stepped in. Neonates are our specialty, and we were determined to give these babies the fighting chance they deserved. Super social! Ainsley Ainsley is the petite princess of the pair—about a pound smaller than her big brother, but catching up fast. With her gorgeous dilute tortie coat and tiny streak of sass, she charms absolutely everyone. She’s a cuddly, affectionate little girl who loves warm laps, soft blankets, and being held close. Her sweet nature shines through everything she does, though she’s not afraid to show her tortie confidence when she wants attention. Ainsbury Ainsbury is a showstopper. This long-haired fluffball sports the cutest little moustache with a handsome curled swoop on each side—truly a one-of-a-kind look. His personality matches his Maine Coon–style features: gentle, intelligent, people-oriented, and wonderfully laid-back. He’s the type of kitten who watches the world with wise eyes, follows his humans from room to room, and melts into your arms the moment you pick him up. He has a calm, old-soul energy and an incredibly loving heart. Both kittens are long-haired mixes with soft, silky coats and affectionate temperaments.
