Story
Hello, my name is Packo. I'm a fluffy black kitty boy who is 8 months old. My tail (okay, my whole body) is like, extra floofy, so I'm probably going to need to find a furever family that will brush me at least sometimes, because this is a lot of fur for one cat to take care of. I don't want to be high maintenance--I'm actually pretty shy, though a lot of that is just being here in an unfamiliar place. I think once I have my own home, I'll be a lot friendlier!        The adoption fee covers the following: spay or neuter surgery; one-year rabies vaccine; feline or canine distemper vaccine; heartworm test (dogs) or combo (fiv/felv) test (cats); deworming; and microchip. Carroll County Animal Shelter is located at 251 Automation Drive in Carrollton GA. Phone: 770-214-3590. The hours of operation are: Monday through Wednesday 12:30 pm till 4:30 pm; Thursday 12:30 pm till 6:00 pm; Friday 12:30 pm till 4:30 pm; Saturday 9:00 am till 4:00 pm. The Carroll County Animal Shelter will be closed the last Friday of every month for deep cleaning, staff training, and animal enrichment.    March 2, 2024, 1:16 am

Story
This hunk of handsomeness is called Butterscotch! He was on an adventure when spotted and arrived to the shelter on 1/31. Butterscotch is 1.5 years old with quite the mane of orange fur. He is hoping that love finds him and treats him like the king he thinks he is. Would you like a bit of Butterscotch in your life? Ask for ID# 653356 Cage 666. He is neutered. He will be micro-chipped and combo tested upon adoption. Please note - Butterscotch has been listed as aggressive and just finished a 10 day bite quarantine. He is available for adoption, but the adopter would have to sign a bite waiver. All of the pet listings on Friends of Shelter Animals for Cobb are done by volunteers, not shelter staff. If this pet came in as lost (not an owner surrender), we don't know how they might be with children, other pets, or if house trained. You can bring your pet to the shelter for a meet & greet with your potential new best friend. When calling the shelter about a cat or dog, please use THE ID NUMBER, names are oftentimes made up by volunteers. This pet and many others are available for adoption from the Cobb County Animal Shelter 1060 Al Bishop Dr. Marietta, GA 30008, call (770) 499-4136 for more information. Shelter hours are: Tues. - Sun. 10:30 a.m. to 4:30 p.m, CLOSED Mondays & Holidays. The shelter prefers people to make an appointment, go to - https://nqa3.nemoqappointment.com/Booking/Booking/Index/as65fg9dr953 and select Adoption. You can also show up between 10:30 & 4:00 Tues. thru Sun. (shelter closes at 4:30), you might have to wait a few minutes until someone can help you. The adoption includes shots, altering, a heart worm or combo test and a microchip. When you book an appointment, it doesn't reserve a particular pet for you. Thank you for considering a Cobb pet!.
