Meet Specs The Fearless Love Bug Who Sees the World Differently Specs is a kitten who doesn’t just survive — she thrives in her own extraordinary way. Born partially deafblind in a homeless camp, Specs faced more challenges than most cats could imagine. The kind humans around her did everything they could to keep her safe, feeding her, caring for her, and protecting her from danger, and thanks to them, she survived a devastating fire that destroyed the camp. Now safe indoors, Specs is grateful for every single moment. She savors soft blankets, warm sunbeams, and gentle human attention like it’s the greatest gift in the world — and in many ways, it is. Personality: Brave, Confident, and Hilariously Adorable Specs has learned to navigate life in a way only she could. She climbs, jumps, runs, and plays with her siblings and other polite kittens just like any other playful kitten — if you didn’t know, you’d think she was just adorably clumsy. But the truth is, she’s deaf and partially blind, and nothing slows her down. She loves cat trees, tunnels, high perches, and toys that make noise. She even gets the zoomies, sprinting through tunnels and across the room with pure joy. She’s excellent at finding her litter box, food, and water — she’s completely independent in her daily routine. Specs doesn’t require special accommodations beyond patience, love, and introductions done in a way that earns her trust. Otherwise, treat her like any other kitten and cat-proof your home as you would for a toddler — she’s ready to explore. Affectionate and Gentle Specs is a love bug through and through. She loves to be hugged, petted, and held like a baby. She might get startled if lifted without warning, but once she knows she’s safe, she melts into your arms, purring and snuggling with absolute trust. She adores other polite cats and will join cuddle puddles or gracefully avoid conflict. Her fluffy tail waves proudly in the air whenever she’s confident, letting you know she’s happy and ready for love. Specs isn’t just a kitten — she’s a miracle of resilience, bravery, and joy. She navigates her world with confidence, plays with unmatched enthusiasm, and loves with a heart that is huge and unshakable. Her life started with hardship, but now she is safe, happy, and ready to love someone deeply in return. Check out more photos and videos of Specs here: Era Photo album Specs is a petite girl and estimated to be about 10 months old as of Jan 5 2025 and fully vetted: neutered, vaccinated, dewormed, defleaed, and microchipped. She tested negative for FIV, FelV, and heartworms. To meet Specs, start by filling out an application here: Adoption application form Questions? info@littlelivesatl.org

Story
Norman is the kind of cat who makes you slow down without even trying. Extra-fluffy and impossibly soft, with calm green eyes that always look like he’s quietly taking everything in. He’s a true gentle soul. Norman is loving, docile, and deeply affectionate — a lap cat through and through. If you sit down, chances are he’s already planning how to join you. He loves cuddles, leans into affection, and has that rare, comforting presence that makes a house feel like home. Norman is also… very serious about food. In another life, he’d absolutely be a professional food tester — enthusiastic, dedicated, and never late to a meal. He’s an extreme foodie in the most endearing way and will happily remind you when it’s time to eat (or when it should be time to eat). Oh and he will do pretty match anything for Churu treats! One of his favorite pastimes is perching on a windowsill or his window hammock, watching the world outside — birds, leaves, passing clouds — like it’s his own personal nature channel. He’s calm and observant, happy to just exist near you, soaking in the day. Norman would do best in a home that appreciates a mellow, affectionate companion who wants to be close, share space, and offer quiet companionship. He’s not demanding or chaotic — just steady, loving, and incredibly easy to adore. He is very submissive to other cats and coexists peacefully with cats that are respectful to him. But he wouldn’t mind be the only cat in the household, as he mostly cares for human affection. He loves been groomed and taken care of, he accepts medicine and having his nails clipped like a champ! Even the vets love him! If there is Churu involved, he doesn’t even mind getting poked for his bloodwork! If you’re looking for a cat who feels like a warm blanket, a peaceful presence, and a best friend rolled into one fluffy black package, Norman is your guy. Norman is estimated to be 5 years old as of January 2026, he is neutered and fully vetted, dewormed, deflead, microchipped and up to date on his vaccines. He tested negative for FIV, Felv and heartworms. Check out more photos and videos of Norman: Norman Photos If you are interested in meeting Norman or want to learn more about him please fill out an application here: Adoption application Questions? info@littlelivesatl.org

Name: Mr. America Age: 9 months Color: Fluffy gray tabby with white accents Personality: Outgoing, cuddly, charismatic, and just a little dramatic Mr. America is the full package: looks, charm, brains, and a heart as soft as his coat. He struts around like he’s got a parade in his honor with his giant plume of a tail, then immediately flops over for belly rubs. He’s a total ham, whether he’s chasing a feather or melting upside-down into your lap, he makes everything look like a photo op. He’s social, silly, and incredibly affectionate. He adores people, loves to play with his siblings, and has perfected the art of flopping into your heart. His vibe? Think golden retriever energy in a kitten body. He’ll follow you around, purr like a motor, and probably try to help you “type” if you’re working.

🐾 Bonded Pair Looking for a Loving, Patient Home We are looking for a forever home for two bonded male cats (ages 4 and 5). They are both neutered and have been indoor cats. These boys must stay together. They are very attached to each other, and the shy one especially relies on his brother for comfort and confidence. 🖤 Cat #1 – The Gentle Soul He is very shy at first and takes time to warm up, but once he trusts you, he is incredibly loving and affectionate. He bonds deeply with his person and enjoys being close. He would do best in a quiet, calm home with someone patient who understands that trust takes time. He cannot be placed alone — he depends on his brother emotionally. 🧡 Cat #2 – The Outgoing Protector He is more confident and outgoing. He warms up faster and loves attention. He is very clingy in the sweetest way and enjoys being near his humans. 💛 About Them Both • Neutered • Indoor cats • Bonded • Best for quieter household

Story
Meet Plato The Fluffiest Philosopher With Very Strong Opinions Plato has always known exactly who he is. It just took the rest of us a minute to earn his trust. Born in a homeless camp to their resilient mom Era, Plato and his siblings survived a devastating fire that destroyed everything around them. Rescued at just 4 weeks old, still a tiny fluffball with blue eyes and barely coordinated legs, even as a tiny baby, Plato had opinions. He gave us the hardest time during rescue — outsmarting traps, dodging hands, and insisting he was a free spirit who didn’t need anyone. We tried everything. Then Plato discovered the truth: Humans bring treats, wand toys, chin rubs, and cuddles. Game over. Plato may be skeptical about change, but the moment a wand toy appears, it’s like magic. He transforms into an elite toy hunter — leaping, twisting, and showing everyone how it’s done. He’s shockingly athletic and impressively precise, basically a ninja disguised as a cloud. His favorite things include: • Wand toys (his true weakness) • Fluffy balls • Pipe cleaners • Kitty tunnels • Treats (instant friendship contract) Offer him a treat and congratulations — you are now best friends forever. Plato is the fluffiest fluff in the litter — unbelievably soft and made for hugging. Once he trusts you, he loves affection. He purrs when hugged, melts into chin rubs, and will gently tap your shoulder when he wants attention — often while presenting his wand toy like a formal request. He’s affectionate in a thoughtful, intentional way — never pushy, always meaningful. Plato’s journey from cautious survivor to affectionate companion is what makes him so special. He didn’t give his heart easily — but once he did, he gave it fully. Because of Plato is a kitten he must be adopted together with one of his siblings (especially his beloved brother Aristotle, who he adores), or into a home with another young and/or playful cat. Here is some information about why we have this policy: Two kittens are better than one For a pair of kittens we apply a $25 discount from each adoption fee. Check out more photos and videos of Plato here: Plato Photo album Plato is estimated to be 3 mo old as of Jan 5 2025 and fully vetted: neutered, vaccinated, dewormed, defleaed, and microchipped. He tested negative for FIV, FelV and heartworms. To meet Plato, start by filling out an application here: Adoption application form Questions? info@littlelivesatl.org

Meet Mira The Gentle Princess Who Chooses You Forever Mira arrived in this world mostly made of baby fluff and hope, about 90% fluff, 10% kitten, and 100% heart. Born in a homeless camp to their devoted mom Era, Mira and her siblings survived a devastating fire that destroyed everything they knew. Rescued at just 4 weeks old, Mira didn’t fight being saved — she seemed instantly grateful. From the very beginning, she would simply sit in your arms, purring herself to sleep like she already knew she was safe. Personality: Soft, Observant, and Sweetly Loyal Mira has blossomed into a beautiful medium-haired princess, elegant and gentle. She loves being in the middle of the action — not to cause chaos, but to observe everything. Her favorite spots include the center of the room and the top of the kitchen island, where she can watch life unfold like a royal overseeing her kingdom. She follows you from room to room and happily settles into your lap whenever you sit down, content just to be close. Mira is a little skeptical at first — just a tiny baby making sure the world is safe. But once she decides you’re her person, she bonds deeply and forever. She enjoys being picked up after trust is built and will happily melt into your arms. One of her favorite things? Climbing onto your shoulder to join you for the ride, so she can see everything from your point of view. Life is simply better when shared. Mira adores her siblings — especially her sister Miya — and thrives with feline companionship. Though gentle, she is brave once confident and approaches the world with quiet courage. Because Mira is a kitten she must be adopted together with one of her siblings, or into a home with another young and/or playful cat. Here is some information about why we have this policy: Two kittens are better than one For a pair of kittens we apply a $25 discount from each adoption fee. PRINCE and PERRY are BEST buddies&#226&#157&#164&#239&#184&#143!!  They are very bonded and must be adopted together. They will bring JOY to your home and you will not worry about them being lonely if you go out because they have each other! Both are very healthy, neutered, negative for all feline diseases and vaccinated.  Meet His Royal Majesty, Prince! Prince is a handsome, regal fellow who truly is the prince of the home. Not only is he beautiful and soft, but he is such a sweetheart! It won’t be long before he’s begging for head rubs once he gets used to you. He will rub up against your legs to let you know he’s eager for some attention. This  big boy will happily flop on his side as you pet him and brush through his long mane. After a royal grooming session, he’ll leap and jump as you wave a wand toy around! He’s laid back but also playful and happy exploring space in his foster home. Prince would benefit from being adopted into a quieter home with his best buddy, Perry. The two boys do everything together! They are both sweethearts who aren’t picky with food and will be a wonderful addition to a calm home.   Meet Perry! Perry is a sweet tabby boy with lots of love to give. He love cheek rubs from just about anyone! He’ll rub his face all over your hand to help you get to scratching all his hot spots (don’t forget the chin! He LOVES chin scratches) and hop on your lap for cuddles once he is comfortable enough. Not only is he a sweetheart, but once he builds up the courage, he will run and jump around when you take out his favorite wand toy. Perry is a funny guy who loves hide and seek - he’ll teach you how to find him in some spots of your home you never knew existed! He and his best buddy, Prince would love to be in a nice, quiet  home together since they’ve never been apart. The two boys do everything together!&#226&#157&#164&#239&#184&#143 Please email for an application at: caninecrusadersatlanta@yahoo.com. March 15, 2026, 12:10 am
