We care deeply about our cats and want the best match for all involved.    All CATsNAP cats and kittens are:  Vaccination against Panleukopenia (Distemper), Rhinotracheitis, and Calicivirus   Vaccination against Rabies (if animal is over 4 months of age)  Testing for Feline Leukemia (FeLV) and Feline Immunodeficiency Virus (FIV)   Initial de-worming, flea, and ear mite treatment  Sterilization of the animal prior to adoption; no exceptions  Micro-chipping as mandated by state law Visit this organization's web site to see any additional information available about this pet.February 4, 2026, 11:51 am

Story
You can fill out an adoption application online on our official website.Yes, Fergus's tail looks a little different (the fur will grow back, but the break needed to be examined), and yes, he has a lazy eye.  Sometimes things happen when fending for yourself. . . but *inside*, Fergus is vibrant, happy, strong, and loving!  His spirit is not broken.   Fergus does test positive for FIV, which is a retrovirus that just means a lower immune system.  Cats outside do tend to get this when fighting for scarce resources, though it is not easily transmitted in homes.  All a FIV positive cat needs is an indoor home, good food, and prompt wellness care, the same as any Catsnap cat! Fergus also has diabetes, so we are very happy we got him off the street to help him with his sugar.  It is currently controlled with an oral med!  He is very stable and not insulin dependent (no shots!). Fergus is an optimistic soul.  He knows that there is someone out there who will see him for who he is.  Not a different looking tail or eye (although honestly, he is beautiful), not a common virus, not a difference in processing sugar.  But for Fergus.  For a loving cat who has been hoping and waiting. . . a cat who, we assure him, is almost to his goal of a home.  He has so much love to give.  Please apply to meet him!  There is no obligation to adopt, but Fergus is worth knowing.   Thank you for your interest in a CATsNAP cat or kitten!    If you would like to meet a cat, please complete the online application located on our website catsnap.org.     We do not have a walk-in facility; most of our cats are in foster homes.  For this reason, we require an approved application on file before we set up a meet and greet.    Completing an online application does not obligate you to adopt! Story
Meet A.B.! 🌟🐾 A.B. is a smart little lady who marches to the beat of her own purr. Independent and delightfully curious, she loves exploring her surroundings and observing the world with those melt-your-heart eyes. Whether she’s chasing toys or soaking up the view from her favorite window perch, A.B. is happiest when she has time to do her own thing—but she still enjoys the company of other animals. If you’re looking for a playful, thoughtful kitten with a gaze that could stop traffic, A.B. is ready to claim a cozy spot (and your heart) in her forever home. PLEASE NOTE: A.B. is an active kitten and will need another cat in the home to play with. If you don't have any other cats at home, ask us about adopting a pair of our kittens who are able to go home alone! If A.B. sounds like she would make a great new family member, email us at orphanedkittycorner@gmail.com or fill out an application at https://forms.gle/BewoPqRU2vZxQE7bA.

Story
👋🏿Hello, this is Pinx and I am looking to rehome her to a trusting person. The reason for this because I am relocating to a new city and with the process of doing that needs my full time attention and energy. And will not have time for her during this milestone in my life. I have had her for alittle over 4 years and she is a pretty chill cat and doesn't cause alot of trouble. If interested please reach out🫶🏾🫶🏾

Story
All Pet Central animals are up to date on age-appropriate vaccinations, spayed or neutered, microchipped (registration included), and current on parasite prevention. Dogs over six-months of age are heartworm tested. When adopting, we will ensure that you receive copies of veterinary and microchip records. Records are sent via email. Paper versions are available upon request. If you are interested in this pet, please fill out the brief Adopter Survey by hitting "Apply for Adoption" on the profile above. After we review your completed survey, we will contact you by phone or email within three business days. Please note- Out of respect for our volunteers and staff, we are closed on Sunday and Monday and will not be processing any applications on those days. Please get back to us right away when we call or email regarding an application so that we can quickly connect using the process below: Select a pet and submit an online adoption survey. A PCH! adoption counselor will contact potential adopters within three business days (PCH! cannot guarantee any pet's availability, but we make every effort to accommodate adopters with a reply and possible alternative suggestions). An adoption counselor and client will then have a conversation to answer questions, discuss any medical needs for the pet and determine the suitability of a match (if necessary, we may opt to put adopters in touch with foster parents). After a match is made, clients will be asked to sign our adoption agreement and pay the adoption fee online through our secure payment system *Please see our modified no-risk return policy. (below) The PCH! adoption counselor will then set up a specific appointment time and location. Adopters should bring a pet carrier and/or a leash to pick up and their ID. Adult pets will be wearing a collar. It is important that clients arrive on time, neither early nor late. Cats and kittens are required to leave in a pet carrier. If your adoption is scheduled at Pet Central Helps!: Upon arrival inside the Crossroads Center complex (360 Wylie Drive), look for the black Pet Central Helps! semi-trailer, which is right outside of our facility (Suite 720). Park in the parking lot and enter the facility. A PCH! representative will greet you and show you to the adoption room. Your new pet will be handed to you. We will take a "Happy Adoption Day” photo with your pet and family. If your adoption is scheduled at PetSmart – Bloomington, IL: Park in the PetSmart (1606 E. Empire St.) Parking lot and enter the store. We will be set up just inside the store entrance. Let us know you are here to pick up your pet! A PCH! representative will confirm your information and hand you your pet. We will take a "Happy Adoption Day” photo with your pet and family. If your adoption is scheduled at the Cat’s Meow Cafe: Navigate to PetSmart, park in the parking lot and enter the store. Locate a PCH! Representative at our adoption table and let them know you are picking up a Cat Cafe Cat. You will sign your final contract with your counselor and snap a picture of the completed screen. Head to the Cat’s Meow Cafe at 507 N. Hershey Rd and provide them with the snapshot of your final contract. They will get your cat and take a “Happy Adoption Day” photo with your pet and family. PCH! supports a 30-day no-fault return policy in which adopters are given the opportunity to find a better match. If we cannot provide advice/tools to keep a pet in the home we offer these options: Exchange for a pet that may be a better match** Receive a refund minus a $40 processing fee** With this approach, we can often turn mismatches into opportunities! Thank you, Pet Central Helps!
