Story
Phoenix is a beautiful, affectionate and sensitive cat. My husband and I took her in following the passing of a close member of his family three months ago. She loves to have her soft tummy rubbed and her hair brushed, and will fall asleep next to you or in your arms. This would all be fabulous were it not for the fact that Phoenix is not a happy kitty when living with other cats and animals in general. She has displayed signs of being possesive of her main caregiver and their attention, and can become unhappy when other animals (and sometimes people) are present or shown attention over her. This has become a problem for us, as we already have several cats in our home. Phoenix needs to be the one and only kitty (and pet) for someone special. She craves all the love and attention that can be given and will reward that with affection and loyalty. She seeks a new home without any other animals and without children, and preferably with an experienced cat caregiver.

Elf MVP but FIV PositiveDon't leave me sitting on the shelf but bring me home so that I can be your buddy. I'm a savvy cat who knows the score. I'm pretty unflappable, too. I don't mind entertaining myself, but a human companion at the other end of the couch and a nice scratch behind the ears always make my day. If you're looking for a resourceful addition to your team, think about signing this Most Valuable Pussycat. I was however infected with Feline Immunodeficiency Virus (FIV) sometime in my life. After the early days of infection, FIV cats may not be sick for months or years but can still infect other cats though. Later in life, a FIV cat's infection may become active again, and I will show signs of sickness. When the virus is active, it can weaken the immune system, leaving me at risk for different infections. The virus can also cause cancers in infected cats. As it can take many years for the virus to become active again, many cats infected with FIV can live long and healthy lives. Primary Color: Black Weight: 13.5 Age: 3yrs 6mths 1wks

Story
Lebanon is a beautiful long haired cat. He is a gentle giant. He does great with other cats but also is not afraid to do his own thing. He loves to curl up and take nap. His birthday is approximately August 21, 2016. We suspect he is around 8 years old or older. He is positive for FIV but that is not a big deal - here is a link for more info. https://www.humanesociety.org/news/fiv-positive-cats Lebanon will take several months to come out and want to be around you. He does not do well in a meet and greet and will not interact at all with anyone. He is very shy and scared at first.  Lebanon is also an FIP survivor so he would need to be adopted locally to his current foster home, just north of Cincinnati, in the event of any conerns.  Lebanon would do best in a quiet home. He loves attention and is not afraid to seek it but wants it on his own terms! He loves to snuggle at night and sleep in bed with his humans. It will take him time to adjust but with the right start and introductions Lebanon will do great! He is up to date on all his vaccinations and is microchipped and neutered. Lebanon has had a rough start to life and is looking for his permanent forever home. He is a gentle giant!  Adoption fee $60 Here is a link to our application http://purrfectfriendscatrescue.org/adoptform.htmlJune 18, 2025, 12:43 pm

THIS IS A COURTESY POST. Purrfect Friends Cat Rescue and its volunteers have not evaluated this animal in any way and can not be held liable for the current condition or future care of the animal. Please work with the specific contact in the posting to confirm if the animal is spayed/neutered, vaccinated, tested, etc. and for a complete description of the animal's personality and behavior traits. Tink is a male, DLH cat. He weighs 12 lbs. and has a high-pitched sing  song purr to melt your heart. He began his relationship with me as an  ear-tipped feral in the neighborhood and over time became the sweet, loving kitty that he is today. He likes to be loved on when he’s in  the mood. He loves to be around his people and also enjoys his time  outside. He goes in and out during the day and comes home every night. He nurtures the other pets in the home, and he adores his dog brother.  He is FIV positive with no current health issues. He mats easily so  requires regular grooming. He brings so much joy to my life. Contact Karen  ksbruby@aol.comNovember 21, 2025, 11:36 am

Story
This adorable girl is Natasha  She can be initially shy, but will quickly warm up to you, especially if you have a churro in hand. She is obsessed with those! She will turn into an absolutely stunning, medium hair cat as she grows up. She has the softest fur ever! She especially loves Toys with bells or feathers! Born to a feral mom outdoors, this little girl quickly warmed up to human caregivers.  She has received flea treatment (had no fleas), was dewormed, received 1st fvrcp, and has been spayed. Her siblings are Yelena, Wanda, Oliver, Charles, and Mabell. PF suggests kittens under 6 months be adopted as pairs.  If interested fill out an application here.  https://www.pfcatrescue.org/adoption-application November 10, 2025, 2:25 pm
