Nina , she is a beautiful long haired friendly cat . Currently in  a home with another cat , children, and dogs . She does not care for  dogs and will hiss at any canine friend , but will not hurt them .  Very good with cats , and my children have picked her up and carried  her around since she was little . Very sweet and wants cuddles but  also very independent . Will spend her days in the middle of your home , upside down in the cutest poses and loves batting around cat toys ! Davis was found outside in pretty rough shape.  People were feeding him and trying to make friends with him....but he was just not sure about it. Finally someone got him in a carrier and we were contacted.  Davis was pretty defensive at first, but clearly he had been someone's pet at one point. Now he loves attention and is great with other cats.  He may take a little bit to think you are worthy of his attention, but once he figures you are ok, he looks for the lovin.  He can be a bit of a grump....but we find it endearing!  We call him our bi-polar cat - rubs on your legs then turns and hisses!  He is a bit of a weirdo!  We do have him on some supplements to help him feel more secure and calm.  They really seem to help, but we would not feel comfortable adopting him out to a home with children. Davis also has the kind of hair that mats easily.  We recently had him shaved and he is sooo much happier!  But he will likely need to have this done a couple of times a year. PESTO is a longish-haired dark tabby young adult with a little white kiss at his throat, and a floofy, fluffy tail!  He's a mellow kitty; very affectionate and interactive, born on 7/20/21.  Loves to be held & petted and to be part of your activities, on your lap, on your desk, hanging out wherever you are! **He was recently determined to have a mid-grade heart murmur; which requires him to have daily medication to help his heart work more efficiently.  (He's easy about taking his daily pill.) He was adopted out as a kitten (together with his sister), but both were recently returned to the rescue due to their family's divorce and relocation.  The sister kitty has been adopted again. (The family had a couple of older childen and a medium sized dog, that he did well with.)   Former owner says: Pesto is a mischievous, playful, sweet, loving, highly affectionate type of kitty.  He’s a gentle soul; gets along with anyone, anything, and loves to give hugs! He will lay on your lap all day as long as you rub his head and pet him endearingly.  He loves toy feathers on a string, crinkle/bell balls and his special spot in the sun behind the couch. He is allergic to a single flea bite which will cause flea bite dermatitis, making his soft coat come out in patches.  He's adventurous and although always kept indoors, has tended to be very curious about the outdoors and will venture out if not carefully watched. Pesto has very long legs and looks like a lanky teenager who is always looking for the next game to play, and he's good at finding things to entertain himself with. Stimpy is a beautiful grey long haired male that is completely  blind. He learns his surroundings quickly and gets around good. Meet Clancy - Male neutered and vaccines done a few years ago at UCAN.  Born in 2017....He is very lovable and constantly giving kisses and well as grooming his humans.  He does not care for dogs unless it is a very mellow dog that is good with cats. Clancy does not do well with small children and may or may not go through a period of fear resulting in hiding from or not wanting to interact with his new family -  change is hard!  He will likely adjust with patience - he is a good boy and great with other cats. We are listing this cat to help a long time friend of Purrfect Friends that is in a situation where she cannot keep all her pets.  We want to help this fellow lover of animals out!
