Story
Salem is a fluffy 16 month old guy. Salem gets along with all of our other cats and absolutely loves his human friends. Salem often needs a friendly invitation down from our cat-walk. Once he's back on petting level he looks for some pets and love. Salem has been proven to enjoy the company of people of all ages. This guy just wants some human interaction and a home to call his own! He really is the sweetest!  Kittens or cats CANNOT be declawed, unless deemed medically necessary. We will gladly provide you with alternatives to this procedure.   The adoption fee is $125 and covers age appropriate vaccines, a microchip, and a spay/neuter. The adoption fee helps cover the cost of these vetting procedures. After you have submitted an application and been approved, we will setup a “meet and greet” between you and the pet. Applications are reviewed in order of receipt.  Please be sure to follow us on Facebook to learn more about Town and Country Humane Society and our mission. ##1842552##

Story
Stuart is a big 6 year old sweetheart. He has pretty long hair and is super loving and cuddly. Stuart is missing part of an ear, we do not know how it happened but it does not noticeably effect him and gives him a touch of extra cuteness! This big guy waits for patient humans to ask for his attention so he can climb on down from our cat walk and give them some love. Once Stuart gets to know you, he remembers and absolutely loves you! Our volunteers and staff members have been caught cuddling up with this guy in our main cattery. This fluffy guy will need daily brushing to help him maintain his beautiful coat. Stuart gets along with other cats, loves people, and is the softest boy. This guy will sure add some love to a home!   Kittens or cats CANNOT be declawed. We will gladly provide you with alternatives to this procedure.  Kittens do better with another kitten to play with.  This gives you a break and give them company when you’re not home. The adoption fee is $125 and covers age appropriate vaccines, a microchip, and a spay/neuter. The adoption fee helps cover the cost of these vetting procedures. If you want to meet this pet, or are interested in adopting, please submit an inquiry or email to tchspapillion@gmail.com. They will determine if you and/or your family are a fit and if so, provide instructions for completing the application.    After you have submitted an application and been approved, we will setup a “meet and greet” between you and the pet. Applications are reviewed in order of receipt.  Please be sure to follow us on Facebook to learn more about Town and Country Humane Society and our mission. ##1842613##

Good with cats, Needs special attention, Spayed or Neutered,
Story
Brady is a two year old peach and white long hair. He is very fearful of humans but we are not giving up on him and hope to find a home that is willing to help him too. He was at a kill shelter on the euthanize list for being too fearful and its obvious to us he had zero socialization before arriving. He's worked with our staff and is still hesitant to accept pats and hides when people arrive.  A quiet home with patient humans. Brady is also availble for our barn cat program. For more info, email us at tchsPapillion@gmail.com The adoption fee is $125 and covers age appropriate vaccines, a microchip, and a spay/neuter. Please note, we do NOT allow declawing of any cat or kitten that we adopt out.  But we will coach you on alternative methods of managing cats with claws *****We are currently operating by appointment only.   If you want to meet this pet, or are interested in adopting, please submit an inquiry or email to tchspapillion@gmail.com. Someone from the rescue will contact you and/or your family and determine, on a broad level, whether you might be a fit for the animal.  If so, they will provide instructions for completing the application. Your application will be reviewed and you will be contacted to set up a time to meet at the shelter or the foster home.   The introduction between you and the pet will be supervised by one of the cat team or the foster.   If all goes well, you can adopt during the same visit. Please be sure to follow us on Facebook to learn more about Town and Country Humane Society and our mission. ##1323027##
