Story
Meet Raggedy Ann! This sweet girl came to SbZ emaciated (body score 1/9), FIV+, tail so matted with poop it couldn’t be found at first, severe eye injury, and a raging skin infection, from an animal control shelter a few counties north. But look at her now! All beautiful, be it a little raggedy, calico fluffy loveliness! 🌟 Despite what she’s been through, Raggedy Ann is the sweetest thing. If you talk to her, she makes biscuits and looks like she’s tap dancing! With her little one-eyed pirate look (she’s missing a bit of an ear too), makes you just want to wrap her up in a blanket and snuggle her. If you did want to do that, you’d need some of those squeezable treats, like Churus, to convince her to stay on your lap. She doesn’t mind being picked up but she’s still working on hanging out in a lap. 😻 Raggedy Ann is looking for a quiet home where she can continue to build her confidence, with patient people who will let her adjust at her own pace. She loves other cats so it’d be great if you have a feline friend for her. 🐾 She also really likes her water fountain, chasing her cat dancer toy, eating treats right out of your hand, and being brushed. 🐈‍⬛ So, who is ready to bring home this little pint-sized pirate wrapped in gorgeous calico floof? 🏡 Email adoptions@savedbyzade.com today! 📧

Story
Meet Miney! He is a 3-year-old longhaired white and black cat who came to us from another shelter. The shelter environment has been scary for him, and he’s been showing signs of fear as he adjusts. Miney is looking for a quiet, understanding home where everyone is willing to respect his space and let him move at his own pace while he settles in.To help Miney feel safe, starting him out in a single room with all of his resources nearby will support a smoother transition. His future family can help build trust by offering treats, engaging him with toys, and simply spending calm, low-pressure time in his presence. With patience and gentle consistency, Miney has the potential to gain confidence and form a meaningful bond in his new home.He is neutered, microchipped, and up-to-date on vaccines and preventatives. If you have further questions, please call the shelter at (517) 626-6060 or email our adoption staff at adoptions@AdoptLansing.org.

Story
I got Brisket when she was about 3 weeks old. My ex-boyfriend found her at his workplace and gave her to me. Shes 3 now and has grown into such a sweet, lively cat. She loves to cuddle, be held, and play fetch with hair ties when shes feeling well. She’s very gentle and thrives in calm environments and has so much affection to give. I’m not home as much anymore, she deserves a family who can give her more time and attention along with medical care. Brisket has faced a few health challenges: fleas in the past, which has led to her overgrooming herself even now (leaving a bald trail from her hind to her tail), ear mites (currently being treated with over-the-counter medication). Due to finances, shes only really had over-the-counter care, hasn't been spayed or had regular vet checkups. Even so she’s always been resilient and affectionate. She really needs a patient and loving home, and someone that can take care of her medically, she has so much love to give and deserves the world.

Story
I got Minnie from a friends house kitten batch. I am moving to low income housing and I can not take the 2 cats with me. She is not one that likes other cats (at least her litter mate) and would work well being an only cat. Once she is use to you Minnie is very loveable and can be the Kittie you have always wanted. She is very shy but will warm up to you in no time. she is about 6.5 years old and had shots when being fixed. I do not know how well Minnie would work with other cats as the one cat I am also re homing is her brother and she fights with him. She had her shots when she was fixed as a kitten and is an inside cat I do not know how well she travels as she has not been anywhere since coming home from vet getting fixed. Please choose Minnie!

Story
Long hair handsome man looking for a forever home. Sam is 15-20 years old and just needs someone to sit with him. He is the best boy and has been moved around a few times due to no fault of his own. He does not love cats that are smaller than him, but does well with bigger “gentle giant” cats. I am told he does well with dogs as long as they aren’t all over him all the time. Does just fine with kids. I think his ideal home would be with an older owner with no pets or lazy pets. He has been around our family a long time, but is being fostered at the moment and potential owners will have to answer some quick questions to ensure he is going to a good home. For care: He eats dry and wet food. He was malnourished, so he has been getting wet food in the morning and evening. He will let you know if you miss a meal. He needs medicine to help his thyroid 1-2 times a day, just crushed up on his wet food. Very easy! He sometimes needs help with cleaning ears and some
