Story
Hello, my name is Patches and I am gorgeous if you couldn't tell.  I'm sweet and loving but I also have a sassy side. I'd do great in a home with other cats or even dogs, as long as I have a slower introduction so they have time to know and learn that I am the queen (obviously). I would love to find my forever home. Are you my person?  If your interested in adopting me, you can complete an adoption application online at polkcountyhumanesociety.org/adopt.  You can also request an appountment to meet me and or other pets you are interested in adopting.  Some of our pets are in foster homes or may already have an appointment scheduled.  The appointment part is so you you won't waste time coming to meet a pet if it isn't at the Humane Society or is waiting for someone else to meet it.  Once we make an appointment for a specific pet within a few days, we won't let someone else adopt that pet until the approved applicant gets to meet him or her.  All of our pets are neutered or spayed, have vaccinations appropriate for their age, treated with flea/tick/heartworm prevention, dewormed and dogs are also microchipped ##1851059##

Story
Hi, my name is Fallon! I;m a beautiful tuxedo boy! I'm very majestic looking with my long hair and my personality reflects that! I am a little shy, but once I know I will be spoiled as the king I am. You will find me to be a lovebug! I came in with my 15 other friends, we were well taken care of and loved until our owner fell ill and couldn't do it anymore. We were brought to the shelter to find that same love again.  Unfortunately, I have tested positive for Feline Leukemia. This means that I'll have to be the only cat in the home, or I can be in a home with another FeLV+ kitty! Due to my special needs, I will need someone speical that understands FeLV+ cats and has the heart to care for me even though I won't be around as long. I know I deserve to live a quality life while I can. If you're interested in adopting Fallon, fill out an adoption application online at polkcountyhumanesociety.org/adopt ##1654217##

Story
Irene is an adorable and fiesty medium-haired tabby girl with an orange flame on her forehead, that is sweet and incredibly intelligent. She has a lot of energy and will drag her brothers (Mycroft and Watson) into her shenanigans as often as she can. She likes to play hard and is working on learning that hands are not chew toys. She loves to snuggle, adores people, and nothing much phases her. Irene is spayed, tested for FeLV, UTD on vaccinations, dewormed, flea/tick treated, and microchipped.

Story
Cady was an owner surrender and when tested for FeLV she tested positive. She is smaller but oh so mighty. She is adorable with her lion cut. She has big, beautiful eyes and incredibly soft fur. She is outgoing and enjoys getting head and chin scratches. Her hair is always wild and that just adds to her charm. She would need to be the only cat in the home or have other feline leukemia positive cats to live her life out with. Our adoption fee includes spay/neuter, testing for Feline Leukemia, age-appropriate vaccines, deworming, flea prevention and a microchip with a lifetime registration.
