Story
This very sweet and rare orange female was rescued from an outside hoarding situation where she lived with approx. 50 other cats.  She has special needs and is looking for her forever home.  She has been diagnosed with heart disease and kidney disease, but that doesn't slow her down.  She loves to chase her toys all over the room and loves to be pet, rolls over for belly rubs and purrs a lot. She is shy at first and would not do well with young children or a noisy environment, but she loves to play, run and chase balls and little catnip toys, and then nap on her pillow.  She enjoys sitting up high on her cat post and going out in her enclosed catio.  She can get jealous and a littly bossy with other cats and is absolutely terrified of dogs, so she would do best with no other pets. Nelly is fully vaccinated and spayed, dewormed and microchipped and appears that she may have some Persian genes by the shape of her face.  She is currently on a special diet for her health and is doing great. This special little kitty is looking for her forever home where she will be loved and spoiled.  If you have a soft spot for special needs kitties that deserve to have a happy life, she is your girl.  Her adoption fee has been reduced to $100.June 21, 2025, 2:34 am

Polly is a very sweet girl but takes a while to trust.  She loves being petted and would do best in a quiet home.  She does get along with other cats but tends to  keep to herself.  She would be happy to warm the lap of anyone who invests the time to get to know her.December 10, 2025, 12:31 am

Story
What is Feline Leukemia (FeLV)? Feline Leukemia Virus is a contagious virus that affects a cat’s immune system, making them more vulnerable to illness. Many FeLV+ cats can still live happy, loving lives—just often shorter than average. FeLV is only spread to other cats through close contact (like sharing food bowls, grooming, or bite wounds) and cannot be passed to people, dogs, or other animals. FeLV+ cats do best in homes with no other cats or with other FeLV+ companions. With good nutrition, regular vet care, and lots of love, they thrive and make wonderful companions. Kittens under 1 year have an adoption fee is $125. Adult cats over 1 year of age have an adoption fee is $85. Specialty cats such as Siamese are $175. Purebred cats are $250. The adoption package on all of our cats includes all of their initial vetting (FVRCP Vaccine(s), Rabies Vaccine(unless deemed too small by vaccinating vet), spay/neuter, FIV/FELV testing (heartworm testing where applicable only available at certain clinics), and microchipping. Also included is age appropriate dewormer and flea/tick preventative. All cats come with a 7-day health guarantee (must be redeemed at Pet Station in Union, MO). We DO NOT allow our cats to be declawed or outside.
