Story
Eva is a stunning 8-year-old long-haired tortoiseshell who came to the shelter as an owner surrender after it was found that she does not do well in a home with children. Eva prefers a calm, adult-only environment and is not a fan of kids, as she may swat when she feels overwhelmed.Eva is also not fond of other cats and would do best as the only feline in the household. However, her previous fosters noted that she can do well with dogs, as long as they are respectful and give her space. As with any new pet, introductions to dogs should be slow and closely monitored to ensure the safety and wellbeing of all animals involved. With people she trusts, Eva is a very loving and affectionate cat. She shows her love by rubbing enthusiastically against her humans, always asking for more attention and affection. She would thrive in a home that understands her boundaries and is willing to give her the time and patience she needs to fully settle in.If you’re looking for a devoted companion who prefers a peaceful home and will shower you with affection, Eva may be the perfect match for you.

Story
Vick has a quiet, gentle spirit. He enjoys being outdoors mostly and can often be found basking in the sun. He especially loves being brushed, and he leans into forehead caresses and kisses, purring contentedly until he begins to drool. Those small moments reveal how affectionate he truly can be. Vick does not wander off nor does he seek out trouble; instead, it seems that trouble has a way of finding him despite his peaceful nature. Vick keeps to himself and moves through the world quietly. He is not a picky eater and is very dependable, showing up consistently and trusting the routine we've built together. Vick needs patience-above all, patience. He is adapting to domestication. Vick has shown that with time and understanding, he can become a warm and loving cat. When given the space to move at his own pace, he opens his heart in quiet meaningful ways. With patience and gentle care, Vick has the potential to be a truly wonderful cat for someone ready to offer lover on his terms.
