This CAT is a member of our Permanent Foster program, and is happily living in a foster home willing to care for her.  If you would like to help with the cost of care for cats in this program, please consider becoming a 'godpurrent.'  For as little as $25 per month, you can help provide veterinary care and food for a special needs cat. Donations can be made by regular mail or online using Paypal.  https://www.fandfnm.org/become-a-godpurrent.html For more information, please send an e-mail to felinesandfriendsnm@yahoo.com HISTORY: HALLOWEENA was rescued by Dixon Animal Protection Society and transferred to F&F for rehoming.  Before rescue, HALLOWEENA had been temporarily housed in a cage in a shed for 3 months with very little human contact, causing her to withdraw. TEMPERAMENT: Pretty HALLOWEENA came to F&F to re-socialize her and give her an opportunity to move about and play. Pretty HALLOWEENA then blossomed in foster care. This once-spicy long-haired black kitty has grown very loving with her person. She is no longer shy about asking for attention, even strangers. She would love a quiet home with a patient adopter. When adopted into a forever home, HALLOWEENA will need patience and a room to herself to get her cat mojo back. She may enjoy the companionship of a calm older cat. HISTORY: MAMA GOOD LUCK was rescued after being hit by a car and giving birth to three premature kittens. Her son GOOD LUCK CHUCK is the sole survivor of her litter. TEMPERAMENT: MAMA GOOD LUCK was rushed to an emergency vet and found to have a pelvic fracture along with significant abdominal bruising. After many long weeks of crate rest healing, she is ready for a home where she can live the comfy and luxurious life she deserves. This beautiful sassy Dilute Calico gal wants to be petted in exactly the way she wants, but definitely seeks out affection! MAMA is not super playful, as she is more of a cat who likes to snuggle in bed and observe birds through the window. MAMA does enjoy the company of other calm cats and older, calm children. She has been through the wringer and is certainly deserving of a wonderful forever home.  AGE:   born approx. 3/22/2020 MICROCHIP #:  -2366 DATE OF STERILIZATION:  5/20/25  VAX RECORD:  FVRCP #1: 3/27/25, FVRCP #2: 4/27/25, FVRCP #3: 5/20/25; FVRCP expires: 5/20/26; Rabies expires: 5/20/26  FELV/FIV test:  3/22/25 neg ADDITIONAL INFORMATION: Due to healed hip fracture, MAMA should not jump and needs a ramp assist to climb up and get down from higher spots.  ADOPTION FEE: $100  If you may be interested in adopting, please complete our online application: https://www.fandfnm.org/application.
