Story
Sassee is 14 months old, and came from a shelter which took her back because the previous adopter was entering an institution. She was nearly emaciated, but is responding to regular feedings of canned food, rarely nibbles on dry (the reason for her low weight when I got her about five weeks ago). She did real well at her "spa day" recently, to trim off some knots and get a bath. Unfortunately, she won't let me hold her so I can do the job of grooming and hair care. Otherwise, she lets me pet her, but that's it. I'm believing Sassee needs to be someone's "one and only," though she does get along "good enough" with my 5 yr old cat, and very seldom has engaged in any play with her. She plays on her own nearly every day after the second morning feeding (being offered ⅓-½ can 4a, 9a, 3p, & 7p). I believe the issue of her not allowing me (70yr old man) to hold her will never end, and so am convinced a woman of near any age would be more her "cup of tea." She's awaiting new home.

This guy is easy going and gets along with everyone. He is still young and struggles with grooming himself. He will need help with grooming by brushing him consistently.
