Story
Stuffing is a striking black-and-white gentleman with a soft, gentle presence. He is fully up to date on all his core vaccines, and he has a calm, quiet personality that makes him a wonderful companion for someone who appreciates a more low-key cat.Stuffing is naturally quite shy, especially when meeting new people or adjusting to a new environment. He may spend some time observing from a safe spot until he feels comfortable. But with patience and kindness, his true personality begins to shine. Once he trusts you, he absolutely loves to be petted and will lean into gentle affection. His sweet nature becomes clearer every day as he warms up at his own pace. This lovable boy would do best in a peaceful, understanding home where he can take things slowly and build confidence over time. For someone willing to give him the reassurance he needs, Stuffing will become a devoted, tender companion who will reward your patience with quiet affection and gentle loyalty. If you have any questions or would like to learn more about Stuffing, please call 740-314-5583.Give us a call at (740) 314-5583 for more information!ADOPTION APPLICATION:All adoption applications are completed at the shelter unless otherwise noted.FOSTER APPLICATION:Want to be a hero for a homeless animal in need? Story
Meet Marisol & Maximus – The Dynamic Duo (better known as Mary & Max) Mary and Max are a striking pair of 1.25-year-old siblings who are as close as two cats can be. You’ll almost always find them curled up together, grooming each other, or gazing out the window side by side. Their bond is unshakable, which is why they’re looking for a forever home together. These two came to us after missing part of the usual socialization window, so they’re a little quirky—but in the best way. Once they know you, they beg for pets and rubs the moment they hear or see you coming. They absolutely love being talked to and will reward you with affection every time. Mary is the more laid-back sibling. She likes to observe calmly from the sidelines, waiting for her chance at head scratches and attention. Max has the higher energy of the two and is a little more nervous. He might hide at first when visitors come by, but once he’s comfortable, he’s just as sweet and friendly. Neither of them enjoys being picked up or handled roughly, but that doesn’t stop them from being affectionate, fun, and loving. With treats and wet food, you’ll win their hearts instantly. Mary & Max would do best in a calm, kid-free home with a true cat lover—someone who can appreciate their quirks and see past the nerves to the wonderful, loyal companions they are. In return, you’ll get double the love, double the purrs, and the joy of watching two best friends share their lives together. Adoption details: 1.25 years old, healthy, spayed/neutered, bonded, and must be adopted together.
