Shades is 10 years old. He has always been an indoor cat, but he does have his claws. Not destructive, if he has a scrarcher or cat tree.He does not groom himself very well, so he is a bit high maintence,.He weights about 20 pounds (I call him my small dog lol). He does not like to be picked and held, but loves to be petted. He is a lap cat on his terms.He is good with older kids, but may not be with lively younger childern.Uses litter, and does need cat food with hairball protection included.Sheba is his sister.Shades is a rescue cat and I have had him for nine years.

What a beauty Jinx is! This little girl is a long-haired Tortie with mitten paws to boot! This sweet girl is full of energy as all kittens are but she also loves to be loved. Her purr is supersonic. She won't be at the rescue long and will be ready to go to her new home as soon as she is spayed.

Kitten alert! Meet Cherry. Cherry arrived at the rescue with her mom and siblings and is still feeling things out. She is hoping for a forever family that can help her see the good in people and life. Patience is a must with this young lady as she is still be socialized. Riley was abandoned by his original owner by way of suicide. We took him in temporarily, but cannot keep him due to his medical condition. Riley is 7 years old. He is a very sweet boy that loves attention. Riley is also non aggressive toward people and other animals. He gets along well with friendly cats and dogs. Riley is an indoor cat only that prefers company over being alone. His medical condition stems from a polyp in his ear that frequently causes ear infections and may require surgery.
