Story
Cassiopia is a quiet, loving 4 year old, spayed female. Cassiopia is what we call a "down low" cat meaning she prefers to be under or in things. Don't let her tendency to hide fool you, she is extremely affectionate, and her purr could shake your house off its foundation, she just prefers to cuddle on her own terms. If you are a quiet, private person, Cassiopia might be the purr-fect quiet, private kitty for you! Cassiopia has lived with other cats but seems somewhat indifferent to them, so with or without feline companions, Cassiopia will be purr-fectly content. The fee to adopt Cassiopia is $75. **Appointments are highly recommended, so please call the Shelter at 541-265-0720 to speak with a staff member about the animal you are interested in adopting. **All adoption candidates have been spayed/neutered, vaccinated, microchipped, flea treated and wormed! Adoptions include a cardboard pet carrier, and a free veterinary visit. If you live in Lincoln County and have dogs in the home, they must be licensed in Lincoln County (requires current rabies vaccination). If you rent, you would need permission from your landlord to have a pet. Phone messages and emails will be returned in the order they are received. You may reach us at 541-265-0720 or lcanimalshelter@co.lincoln.or.us for more information.

Story
Greg and Marsha are a bonded pair of 5 year old cats that need a quieter, loving home to enjoy. These coy felines were brought to the shelter after their owner passed away. Shelter life has been pretty stressful for them, so we haven't seen too much of their personalities. So far they really enjoy snuggling together, their beds on their cat tree, and looking out the window at birds flying by. If you have a little patience and a big heart than come, see these two adorable cats today! *All adoption candidates have been spayed/neutered, vaccinated, micro chipped, flea treated and wormed! Adoptions include a free veterinary visit and 20% off coupon from the Feed Corral on Highway 101. Dogs in the home must be current on their rabies vaccination and licensed with the county in which you reside; and if you rent, we need landlord permission for the adoption by phone, email, or copy of a rental agreement. You may place an animal on hold for a fee of $10.00 per day for 2 days (48hrs.) the shelter or by phone. Phone messages will be returned in the order they are received. We are open Tuesdays through Saturdays, noon to 5 pm. You may reach us at 541-265-6610 x 6 or lcanimalshelter@co.lincoln.or.us for more information. *All adoption candidates have been spayed/neutered, vaccinated, micro chipped, flea treated and wormed! Need to remove as he is not allowed to be outdoors in the apartment complex. Cat lives with my son since I got married and he was used to being an indoor/ outdoor cat. He crys in a very loud cry until my son can't stand it anymore and let's him out. Management has contacted my son he must keep cat indoors. Cat loves outdoors and only wants fed and a couple hours rest indoors. An outdoor shelter would be great too.

Looking for a home for this older male black-and-white tuxedo cat. His owner passed away recently. Jerry is quite shy and hides from strangers. He takes quite a while to get used to you, but once he does he can be quite affectionate. He is used to living with dogs and has in the past been great friends with a quite energetic Saluki hound. He is currently indoor only, but has previously lived indoor/outdoor in a very rural area.
