Ginger Birthday 7/15/2024 Female Being beautiful can have its burdens too. Ginger is a stunningly beautiful girl with her golden honey colored long hair. Visitors want to search her out, pick her up, hold and pet her. It’s almost like the paparazzi hoping to snap that perfect photo. Sometimes Ginger would just prefer to indulge in a little catnip and nap in the sun. After being abandoned in the countryside, Ginger is still a little tentative about strangers who approach too quickly. She is, however, a gentle soul who warmly welcomes people who have a soft touch. She particularly loves sitting by your side for chin rubs and treats. She then reaches out with a paw and softly purrs for more. Ginger would thrive in a quieter household with someone who believes in relationships built on trust. Someone who sees not just her outer beauty, but the loveliness within. 💜

So Sweet Female Birthday-4/20/2021 So Sweet can be just that, but sometimes a little sassy too. It’s understandable given her life was turned upside down. So Sweet was the cherished cat of an elderly gentleman who passed. They meant the world to each other. When he died, So Sweet was left alone with only a few neighbors dropping by to provide basic care. When the house sold, she faced almost certain “eviction” until one of our fosters stepped in to help. So Sweet is a gorgeous long haired tortie cat with piercing green eyes. Based on looks alone, she would have been adopted in a heart beat. So Sweet has been a little overwhelmed, however, with so many other cats and people at our cat cafe. Everyone wants to reach out and touch her, but sometimes she swats them away-albeit with claws retracted. She watches with longing but can be hesitant to engage. We think her heart is broken...💔 There are times, however, when So Sweet is a different cat! Bring out a laser light and she will chase it to exhaustion. (We suspect she had few toys in her previous life). And if you have a slice of pizza, So Sweet is right in your lap to share! She will also playfully nudge other cats to test the water. And then, of her own accord, So Sweet will mysteriously appear by your side softly purring and asking for pets. So Sweet needs someone who will patiently help her heal, but also someone willing to share an abundance of love and happiness. Someone who appreciates So Sweet but sassy too! 💕

Meet Orange! He's a sweet, vocal, affectionate boy who's been a loyal porch visitor for years; he's recently been brought inside and is adjusting pretty well to indoor life. He's ready for life in a loving, safe home. The vet estimates his age to be around 4 years old (possibly older). Orange is friendly, talkative, and playful when he wants to be. He loves rolling over onto his back, will jump up onto your lap, accept head kisses and small (so small!) hugs without pressure. He's a little picky about being picked up, but happily will lay around you, nudge you, and seek you out for attention. Once he trusts you, he even tolerates being picked up, though this isn't his favorite. Orange did well at the vet when being handled and the vet was willing to write a letter stating there were no behavioral concerns. He does sometimes play with his water bowl, but seems to be adjust well to indoor life and would do amazing in a home with no other pets and no young children!

Please do not complete an adoption application but contact Annette in Harrisburg at alr20@comcast.net for more details. Lord Flufferton is one gorgeous guy! And he has a personality to match. Better known as Fluff, he loves to hang out with you, loves to lap sit for short periods, and is very friendly and affectionate as long as you're a human. He's not particularly good with other cats but great for an 'only-one-cat' kind of person. Fluff wandered into a stray cat feeding station in Harrisburg, looking like he'd just stepped out of the groomer's. He was a pet, as evidenced by a microchip, but his owner was never located. He's a long-haired cat but doesn't seem to need much brushing. He's also a perfect litter box user.Fluff is fully vetted. He's neutered and current on his vaccines and received a clean bill of health during a physical exam, including a negative fecal test. He also tested negative for feline leukemia and FIV. An adoption donation of $25 and reference checks are required. Update: She is currently Pending an Adoption with an applicant- Snow white is a two year old white Maine Coon mix. She has been neutered, dewormed, had distemper shots and recent rabies, along with regular flea treatment and deworming. In addition she has been microchipped which can be registered to you. Adoption fee is to help cover my costs for these vet services. Indoor cat only. She is very affectionate, loves to be petted, held and is definitely a lap cat. She is a large fluffy all white cat with blue/greenish eyes that change colors. I am finding homes for some of my cats due to my health and upcoming surgeries. You should describe your home and how you will care for her. Pick up will be your responsibility near Shamokin PA.
