Short, dark, and handsome

Lord Flufferton is one gorgeous guy! And he has a personality to match. Better known as Fluff, he loves to hang out with you, loves to lap sit for short periods, and is very friendly and affectionate as long as you're a human. He's not particularly good with other cats but great for an 'only-one-cat' kind of person.

Fluff wandered into a stray cat feeding station in Harrisburg, looking like he'd just stepped out of the groomer's. He was a pet, as evidenced by a microchip, but his owner was never located. He's a long-haired cat but doesn't seem to need much brushing. He's also a perfect litter box user.

Fluff is fully vetted. He's neutered and current on his vaccines and received a clean bill of health during a physical exam, including a negative fecal test. He also tested negative for feline leukemia and FIV.

We offer an online adoption application at www.castwaycritters.org. We do check references, vet references, and housechecks. Once you are approved, you will be required to fill out an adoption agreement. Our animals have all been wormed, altered and vaccinated. Cats have been tested for FIV/FeLV. Completing an application does not obligate you to adopt; however, it is required. Applications are processed in the order received in an effort to find the best match possible for both the dog and the adopter.

More about this rescue

We are a non-profit rescue group that takes in stray, abandoned, and sick animals, giving them medical and foster care until available for adoption. We offer low cost spay/neuter clinics to the public and a special program called Operation CatNIP for pet cats of low income qualified individuals and feral cats, and assist in TNR for cats.
