We are pre-approving applicants. To schedule an appointment, first fill out our adoption application ( https://cb8f5fb7-0a87-40fa-8ea5-50c4da40acd3.filesusr.com/ugd/c8cb9f_8cd13866ecd54a42a2b424d2b2f8dc10.pdf ). This will ask you questions about which animal you’re interested in, your family, other furry members in the household, whether you own or rent your home and who your Veterinarian is. These allow us to make the best match possible. We touch base with your landlord due to the unfortunate number of landlords who do not allow pets in Franklin County. Our goal with checking in with your Veterinarian is to ensure that the animals of FCAR receive the medical care they deserve. Once we have a positive reference from your landlord (if you rent) and Veterinarian, we will contact you to schedule an appointment with us! If you don't have any pets we understand you would not have a vet reference and we ask for applicants to substitute a personal reference. Please keep in mind, appointments are first come, first serve, based on when your application is approved. Please be patient with your Veterinarian and landlord, as their staff and businesses have been affected by COVID-19 as well. We are incredibly thankful that there has been no shortage in interest! This being said, our staff is limited and we are doing our absolute best to approve applications in a timely manner. This process can take up to a few weeks, but most are approved before then.

Story
You can fill out an adoption application online on our official website. Afin d'avoir une chance de l'adopter, veuillez remplir notre formulaire d'adoption directement sur notre site web:  https://www.reseausecoursanimal.org/nous-contacter/formulaire-adoption/       Mocha is the sister of Nyx and Zara. She's a playful, curious little cat! She's affectionate, but not emotionally dependent. She loves spending time with her foster family, observing her humans and sleeping in bed with them. She loves to play with anything that might be lying around, even wiggling toes under the blanket. Mocha is used to living with other cats, but could also be a single kitty. She could also live with children who are old enough to know how to interact with cats. Mocha is a kitten so the adoption fees for her are $340. She is sterilized, vaccinated and microchipped. She is not tested for the feline immunodeficiency virus (FIV) or for the feline leukaemia virus (FeLV) but her brother Nyx tested negative for both viruses. Health insurances are offered for the first 6 weeks following adoption. You will also have access to the help of the adoption team as long as you need it. You will also have access to a free 30 minutes video consultation within the first month following adoption with our cat behaviour consultant FelineGood ( https://www.felinegood.ca ).   In order to get a chance to adopt her, please fill out our adoption directly on our website:  https://www.reseausecoursanimal.org/contacts/adoption-form/ Visit this organization's web site to see any additional information available about this pet.December 3, 2023, 6:57 pm

Story
You can fill out an adoption application online on our official website. He's an energetic, dynamic little kitten. He's got a lot of energy to burn! More emotionally dependent than his sister, he's very affectionate. When he seeks your attention, he lets out his hoarse little meow, which makes him quite adorable. He loves to follow his foster family around the house, accompanying their humans in all their daily activities. Nyx is used to living with other cats, but would also make a good single cat. He could also live with children if they are old enough to understand how to interact well with cats. Nyx is a kitten so the adoption fees for him are $340.
