Malheureusement il est porteur du virus de l'immunodéficience féline (VIF). Pour plus d'information sur le VIF:  https://www.veterinairesaucanada.net/ressources-associees/virus-de-l-immunodeficience-feline-fiv/  Malgré cela, il est en bonne santé et peut vivre une belle et longue vie à l'intérieur! Milo est joueur, affectueux et peut paraître un peu peureux au début. Mais il est aussi doux au toucher que dans son caractère. Une fois habitué aux humains, il réclame souvent petits et gros câlins. Il a appris à dormir en toute confiance avec les humains. Sa famille d’accueil pense qu’il serait plus heureux avec un compagnon félin, car il s’entend très bien avec d’autres chats (gentils avec lui aussi). Milo est un petit chat très propre qui apprécie le brossage. Il mange et boit très bien et n’a pas de problème de gestion de nourriture (gamelle pleine en tout temps).  Il aime beaucoup les arbres à chat et jouer avec de la corde et des balles rebondissantes, par exemple. Par contre, sa famille d’accueil a découvert qu’il avait peur des grelots ! Milo a de l’amour à revendre une fois le contact bien installé, ce qui sera assez facile. Elle a été adoptée plus tard cette même année, puis retournée en septembre 2025. Elle est présentement en famille d’accueil et cherche sa famille pour la vie!  Elle adore les humains et aime être près d’eux, de jour comme de nuit. Elle est toujours prête pour jouer, surtout avec des ficelles et des plumes. Elle ne fait pas son âge : elle est active comme un plus jeune chat! Erika est une professionnelle du roucoulement; vous l’entendrez souvent demander de l’attention de cette façon. Elle viendra aussi grimper sur vous pour demander des câlins, tout en ronronnant. Si vous travaillez de la maison, elle viendra certainement dormir sur votre bureau une bonne partie de la journée. Erika est très gourmande, mais elle doit manger de la nourriture vétérinaire avec protéines hydrolysées (nourriture sèche et humide) à la suite d’un épisode de diarrhée qui a duré plusieurs semaines. Elle a aussi une rhinotrachéite chronique, qui s’exprime par des éternuements et des écoulements nasaux. Elle vit très bien avec cette condition.
