Story
Chalupa, spayed female, long hair torbie, born 4/9/23. Chalupa is the sweetest special needs kitty, having been exposed to toxoplasmosis and treated, with lasting effects in the neurological and breathing areas. But she is as happy as they come and don't have a thought she is even affected. She plays, she climbs eats, sleeps, and uses the bathroom quite normally.  She also takes minimal medication like liver supplement. And she adores her treat time - she comes scurrying across the floor in her cute special way she does. Chalupa can live a long, healthy life. Won't you give a special needs kitty a chance at happiness in a loving home? Ask for as many pictures and videos as you want. You may just find yourself falling for her as I have.   Thank you.  The adoption fee is $100. This covers the cost of spay/neuter, PVR, Rabies, flea, tick, ear mite and worm treatment. To adopt, you need to first fill out an application. Go to: https://rutherfordcountyhumanesociety.org/cat-adoption-application/ We are located in Western North Carolina. Optional transport is weekly.  After your application is approved, we will contact you regarding cost and delivery if you so desire.February 29, 2024, 9:01 am

Story
Margaret is a spayed female long-haired muted calico cat, born on 10/24/21. Margaret is a beautiful long haired muted calico, about two years old. She has gorgeous eyes and a sweet angelic face. Margaret can be shy at first, but as she knows and trusts her caregiver she becomes playful, affectionate, and friendly. Margaret loves to purr, chase toy mice, and roll around onto her back to show her maximum kitty cuteness. She loves to be pet and have a scratch behind the ears. Margaret would like a quiet home, probably without dogs. She will make a wonderful companion! The adoption fee is $100. This covers the cost of spay/neuter, PVR, Rabies, flea, tick, ear mite and worm treatment. To adopt, you need to first fill out an application.
