Story
Bella and her sister, Taylor, were skittish stray kittens who unfortunately have remained rather skittish.  They will take plenty of time and patience to transform into typical house cats, and may never fully enjoy being picked up or cuddled unless it's on their terms. We are a foster home based rescue in Clarksville, TN, and our cats are in private foster homes in the Clarksville area. An adoption application is required to meet our kitties. Once your application is reviewed and upon approval, we will then provide the information to schedule a meet and greet with their foster. We are a 100% volunteer run organization and have varying hours, as our volunteers work during the day, our goal is to process adoption applications within 24-72 hours, please be patient with us! Story
William Hayes is awesome! He plays, he cuddles, he purrs, he makes biscuits and he has ninja skills. He's also a weirdo who tries to suckle on you! He's 4 months old, and if you weren't told, you wouldn't know he has FELV. Oh! And he likes to hold your hand or keep his paw on your arm. Please understand this cat is a medical adoption. This cat is positive for Feline Leukemia virus. Looking at them you would never know it! The virus causes a weakened immune system which will mean more medical care will be necessary throughout their lives. Some cats have a low level of the virus which explains why they have grown and thrived as kittens. These cats can be more susceptible to upper respiratory infections, infections of the skin, like ringworm, and gastrointestinal issues. The life expectancy of FeLV cats is lower but research has proven they still have a good quality of life. Reducing stress and using a high quality diet help keep these cats as healthy as possible. All medical and test records will be sent with an adoption so your full service vet can have records. If you would like a list of local veterinarians who care for FeLV positive cats, we can provide a list! Thank you for considering a FeLV positive cat, they deserve a wonderful home! If you have other cats at home, please make sure they are vaccinated for FeLV by your regular vet. Feline Leukemia is spread through saliva and bodily fluids with prolonged contact. The vaccine is very protective.

Story
We are so excited to show off our newest young male kitten, Gorgeous Gus.   What a stunning long haired boy he is at just 6 months of age and nothing but a real sweetheart of a cat.   Gus is very shy with people and he loves to play with other cats and kittens. Gorgeous Gus enjoys sunning himself in the window and learning all about the world that is passing by his house.   He is going to l need some patience and  to be worked with and given time to come out of his shell. We don’t know what happened in his early kitten days but Gus gets along with other cats, kittens, puppies and dogs. He is shy around children and adults but he is a very playful kitten with other cats.  We know that he will soon learn how to be confident and trust the people in his life that are calm and caring.   If you would like to make Gorgeous Gus a project of love and trust then write to us at ccrtennessee@gmail.com   Help Gus find his confidence and forever love.  Our vetting is extensive: Spay, rabies, FIV vaccine, FIV tested and negative, fecal and dewormings and a Drontal  and microchipped. PLEASE NOTE:   Our dogs and cats are fostered in Tennessee and can transport weekly up to the Northeast region.  Request an application and learn more about Critter Cavalry at https://www.crittercavalry.com/adoption.December 9, 2023, 4:52 pm
