Story
Meet Annabel Contact us at SilverRescue@gmail.com for an application. Annabel is a beautiful Dilute Tortoiseshell. She may be mixed with the Main Coon breed. She is a silky longhair. She is approximately 3 yrs old and weighs around 11 lbs. She is sweet. She will meow sweetly for her food and petting or just to say Hello! She loves scratches between her ears and strokes along the top of her body but doesn't need much else. She loves sitting with you but is not much on laps. If you are a busy person who doesn't sit much, this may be the cat for you. She loves sitting in the window, she loves napping (what cat doesn't). She enjoys playing with her person with a feather wand but also easily entertains her self. Annabel is ok with older calm dogs but not active younger dogs. She coexists with them but does not snuggle with them. At first she is a little shy when meeting a new person or when put in unfamiliar places. But she is soon happy and loving once she knows she can trust you. If you’re interested in making sweet Annabel your own contact us at SilverRescue@gmail.com for an application. Annabel will be adopted to an inside only forever home. Application, references, vet check, home visit required. Annabel’s adoption donation of $100 will help the next needy kitty. Thank You!

Story
Mr. Chill is our gorgeous solid grey and white long haired handsome, young boy that is a miracle cat.  A vet that Critter Cavalry Rescue works with, called about Mr. Chill who was brought in to their clinic with a badly broken leg that required surgery and a pin in his leg.  The senior couple could not afford the surgery and they were going to euthanize this handsome boy.  Critter Cavalry Rescue paid the $1,000 bill to fix his leg and save his life.  He was worth it !!!!  His regular name was Cloudy but we nicknamed him Mr. Chill.  He has been healing so nicely and getting friendlier and snuggly the past 3 weeks since we picked him up from the vet’s office after surgery.  He greets his foster mom at the door in the morning, ready for her to pick him up and hold him over her shoulder.  He wants lots of head scratches, please!  He has started walking on all four legs now, but he still travels with a slight limp in his giddy-up.  Thankfully all the nerves in his paw seem to be intact and we marvel at what a trouper he has been!  As you can see from his good looks , he is also a gentleman and has been so tolerant of the other younger and more energetic kitten in the cat room of the house.  He has never hurt her; he hasn’t even growled to ask her to please quiet down and behave.  He just embraces the fun.  Mr. Chill is all that and more….such gentle boy.  He is  destined to become a lap cat, not because he has to, but because he wants to.  Purring is guaranteed with his adoption and at no extra charge!   Please write to us at ccrtennessee@gmail.com   April 18, 2024, 7:05 pm

Story
This beautiful, gentle, longish haired girl was saved off a street so she would not get run over. She is incredibly shy and does best with other submissive cats, dogs, and people. She will have the rescue's full microchip service, and has had all her shots. If you love an empath kitty, SHE IS IT. She is highly in tune with the soul of a patient human who "understands cat". She is simply LOVELY !!!!
