Hello, We have been caring for a cat that originally belonged to our neighbor. The neighbor moved away and left him behind, we took him in, provided food, and gave him a safe place to stay. He is a calm, well-behaved cat who spends most of his time indoors. He does not scratch furniture and is fully litter-trained. He is gentle and does not bite—just a little shy at first. He enjoys being brushed and likes attention, although he doesn’t like being held for too long. He goes outside occasionally, and we always let him out when he asks. After a short while, he reliably comes back home. He sometimes throws up hairballs, which is normal for long-haired cats, but otherwise he seems healthy and easy to care for. We love him very much. However, we are moving out of the country soon and unfortunately cannot bring him with us. We are hoping to find a responsible organization or family who can give him a safe, loving home.

Maestro is about 1 1/2 years old, and is super cuddly! He came to us as a malnourished stray begging for food. I’m 99% sure he used to be an indoor cat, because of how friendly and well behaved he is. He has a playful personality and makes himself right at home anywhere. "Meet Midnight! He's a lovely black cat with sparkly green eyes! He is 6 years young, fully vaccinated and neutered. He was adopted as a kitten and grew up with his older cat brother who he gets along with well. Midnight is a very shy cat but once he warms up to you, he is a real sweetheart! He loves to cuddle and will sit right on your chest the instant you lay down. He also loves to play! Pull out a laser pointer and he will race around the room all day! If he's not playing or sleeping, you'll find him sitting by a window watching the birds and squirrels. Recently we've moved into a new house and gained some new housemates, particularly two other cats. Midnight unfortunately does not like to be around other cats and also hesitates around dogs so he's not loving his new home. He's never been around kids so not sure how he'll get along with them but he loves people! He prefers to be the "only child" and just wants someone that would cuddle with him all day. "
