Story
Stella was brought to CVHS when her owner was experiencing some health issues, and was no longer able to care for her. She is a bashful but sweet girl, looking for a calm and quiet home where she can spend her golden years. Stella hasn`t had any experience with canines and children, and due to her age and shyer personality would prefer to live without either. She has lived with another feline in the past, and may be ok with a mellow cat-savvy feline with a slow introduction.Stella enjoys being brushed, and she will show her affection for you with soft kisses.

Story
Monty and his sister Feebie are a beautiful bonded pair who came to us after their owner passed away. They are 7 and 8 years old. We will only adopt them out together.Monty is an easy going fellow. He is so handsome, and he knows it. He loves to be brushed and will reward you with blissful purrs. He is a love bug who likes to be petted and be near people. He enjoys batting around wand toys, sitting high on top of a cat tower, or snoozing on a couch. Feebie is a regal, gentle beauty and a very cautious kitty. She likes to watch things from high above, keeping her distance until she feels sure that all is secure. When she starts to know a person, she shows it by slow blinking her eyes. Eventually her curiosity takes over and she will move closer and take treats from one's hand. She is an active, curious and cheerful cat who likes to explore her surroundings and play with wand toys. Bonding with Feebie is special because it takes patience and understanding to earn her trust. Every step towards winning her over feels precious. With Monty by her side, she finds the confidence to bond with humans again after her beloved person passed away. She has made great strides at the Shelter to come out of her shell and will nowwalk up to new visitors who are calm and in possession of a bag of treats! Monty and Feebie are looking for a quiet home with a patient, cat-savvy person who will welcome them both, and who can give them a safe haven with a reliable routine. They will both be loving and loyal companions. Please note that Kingdom Animal Shelter is not a 'same day' adoption shelter. Story
Maple is a sensitive and sweet little cat who is 2-years-old. Last winter, she lived as a stray in an open garage, until a good Samaritan took her home. Maple's long fur was heavily matted which made her legs get stuck to her body. It was a frightful time for her, and she was very fearful. Her rescuer got her fur shaved off and brought her to the Shelter. At first, Maple was slow to come out of her shell. She loved to explore rooms in the Shelter and to look out of windows when things were calm and peaceful. Eventually she liked to be petted by people who she knew well and started to play with toys. But now, she greets everybody with a big cat smile on her sweet face, wants to be petted, and even likes her belly rubbed by some of her trusted caretakers! Maple is a bright and companionable kitty. She loves watching what people are doing and to sit close by. But Maple doesn't like other cats and seems to be afraid of them. She will need to be the only cat in her household. In her new home, Maple might take a little time to make sure all is safe for her, but she is well worth the patience! In the right home, Maple will be a gentle, cheerful, loving presence on soft paws. She will remind you every day that kindness is the key to the best things in life. Story
Katy was living an indoor/outdoor life before arriving at the shelter. She is shy but lovely and wants to take comfort in other cats. Once she gets comfortable with you she flops over and gives you her belly. There was a dog in her previous home that she did her best to avoid. Anyone who is interested in making her a part of their family should be prepared for her perhaps still wanting access to the outdoors.

Story
Luna is a gorgeous long-haired tortoiseshell with a mellow, easygoing attitude who loves gentle pets and lounging around, making her the perfect match for a quieter home. She thrives with slow, calm introductions to other cats and would do best with a likeminded, laid-back, independent feline companion. Luna would also do well with chill kids and respectful dogs who appreciate her relaxed vibe.
