Not good with dogs,
Story
Lewis is a sweet, quiet, and contemplative gentleman. From day one, Lewis has been eager to soak up all the love and attention (and food!) he can get. He is known to roll over on his side, and he also loves some back scratches. We don't know much about his past or how he interacts with dogs or other cats, but because he is FIV+, an indoor-only lifestyle would be the best fit for him. This fluffy boy is sure to bring all the warmth and coziness your home needs this winter!

Story
Domino has a natural curiosity that drives him to explore his surroundings. Whether it’s a cozy corner of the living room or a sunlit spot by the window, Domino is always on the lookout for new adventures. His inquisitive nature makes him a joy to watch as he investigates every nook and cranny of his environment. While Domino loves to explore, he also values the comfort of companionship. He has formed a special bond with his feline friend, showing that he thrives in the company of others. This sweet cat enjoys cuddling up and sharing moments of affection, making him an excellent choice for families looking for a loving pet. If you have calm dogs or older children, Domino will fit right into your family! He is known for his gentle demeanor and adaptability, making him a wonderful companion for both pets and kids. His friendly personality ensures that he can coexist harmoniously with other animals, provided they respect his space and share the love. Domino is bonded with Izzie. Story
Lola may start off a little shy, but don't let that fool you—once she gets to know you, she’s an absolute sweetheart who will love you forever. She’s a gentle and quiet girl who thrives in a calm environment. Lola especially enjoys back rubs and chest scratches, and she’ll nuzzle in to show her affection once she’s comfortable. Just a heads-up—she’s not a fan of belly rubs, so stick to her back and chest for maximum snuggles! Lola does well with laid-back, not-so-active cats, but she hasn’t been introduced to dogs or other animals yet, so we're not sure how she’d react. If you have a quiet, peaceful home and a little patience, Lola will surely become your loyal companion for years to come. Give her the time she needs to adjust, and she’ll show you just how loving and devoted she can be.   PLEASE READ THIS TO ADOPT: Completed applications take precedence over inquiries. If you are interested in adopting, the FIRST step is to complete an application. Story
Luna is a gorgeous long-haired tortoiseshell with a mellow, easygoing attitude who loves gentle pets and lounging around, making her the perfect match for a quieter home. She thrives with slow, calm introductions to other cats and would do best with a likeminded, laid-back, independent feline companion. Luna would also do well with chill kids and respectful dogs who appreciate her relaxed vibe. While she doesn’t always love being picked up, she enjoys affection on her own terms and is happiest when receiving pets. Sassy, beautiful, and serene, Luna is ready to bring her calm nature and unique charm into her new forever home. Luna is currently at Petco in Rutland. Stop by to meet her!

Good with cats,
Story
Katy was living an indoor/outdoor life before arriving at the shelter. She is shy but lovely and wants to take comfort in other cats. Once she gets comfortable with you she flops over and gives you her belly. There was a dog in her previous home that she did her best to avoid. Anyone who is interested in making her a part of their family should be prepared for her perhaps still wanting access to the outdoors.
