Story
God's Dogs Rescue plus Kitties does NOT transport any cats or kittens in or out of the state of Texas. It is too stressful for the cats or kittens to be transported long distances, especially when enclosed in a vehicle containing dogs and puppies. Thank you for your understanding. Look at that beautiful face! Cardamom is a unique long-haired solid white boy with piercing blue eyes. His beginnings were humble and humanless. When he first arrived at his foster mom's house, he was terrified. But with a little patience and a lot of love, Cardamom has blossomed into a purring machine. Card, on first meeting, can be very shy but as soon as he realizes he is going to be petted, he melts. He keeps his beautiful coat VERY clean and his tail is best described like a feather duster. Card will definitely require time to acclimate in his new home but his new parent(s) will be richly rewarded with a loyal and sweet fur companion!

Story
Meet Susie, a gentle soul residing in foster care. She is a 2 year old female DLH. Known for her shy demeanor, Susie often spends her days quietly observing her surroundings, seeking a peaceful corner where she feels safe. She thrives in a calm environment and would make a perfect companion for someone who appreciates the quieter, tender moments of companionship. Brushing that beautiful coat would be a lovely bonding process. Adopting Susie means giving her the loving home she deserves, where her gentle spirit can truly blossom. If you are interested in adopting, please fill out the application at the following link https://www.humanesocietyofwilkes.org/adopt/application or contact Jennifer at fireball7705@yahoo.com with any questions.

Story
Meet Sawyer. This guy may have the appearance of an older gentleman but he is around 4 years old. Sawyer had a rough start in life. He was a stray who had extensive dental issues that required the removal of most of his teeth. Now he likes to stick his tongue out in the cutest way! His diet is mostly soft foods due to his dental issues. He also had a condition in which his eyelashes grew inward rubbing his eyes all the time. He’s since had surgery to repair this condition but he still has smaller eyes than most cats. ?But Sawyer has not let any of these needs dampen his spirit! He is a very vocal guy who gets the zoomies pretty often and runs through the house. He’s recently discovered the joy of playing with his toys. Sawyer loves being around people. He loves to curl up on a lap for a nap. He’s a sweet guy who is ready for a healthier, simpler lifestyle. He has been around cats and done well but not been tested with dogs. The first steps of adoption is to submit an application here: https://humanesocietyofwilkes.org/adopt/application For questions you can email the foster home at d_neese_g@yahoo.com
