Story
Lilly is a long-haired black beauty (declawed-ouch!) who is quite terrified at the moment, finding herself in a shelter. For that reason, her go-to move is under her blanket where she can feel safe again. This poor kitty needs a second chance at happiness, can you give that to her? These confused and scared cats are the ones that need you the very most. Lilly is available for adoption at the Petsmart Grafton location. Primary Color: Black Weight: 8.54 Age: 4yrs 1mths 2wks

Story
Hi, I'm Puff! I'm about a year old and people tell me I'm gorgeous. I was a stray, so I had nobody to help me take care of my long, thick hair. It got matted, so it had to be shaved, but they tell me it's growing out nicely! I've been off the streets since January, but I was very unsure of all the shelter noise. I got my very own foster mom last week, and she gave me so many treats I decided that humans aren't so bad after all. Now they cuddle and play with me all of the time and I never want them to leave! The good pets make me so happy I drool! I'm still not so sure about magical human contraptions like TVs and radios, but I'm getting used to them. I have a pretty sweet room in my foster home, but I'd really like a home I can get settled into. If you have treats and give good pets, please apply to take me home with you! Story
*This pet had a surgery to remove a bladder stone on 4/24/24. Although the stone was removed surgically, recurrence is possible. Diet and/or medication is important in minimizing the excess minerals in the urinary tract which can lead to stone formation. This pet is currently being managed with a prescription diet to help her process the minerals. We are sending you home with a supply of the prescription diet, plus our veterinarian will 1) write a 90-day prescription for the diet and medication OR 2) approve a 90-day prescription through an online pharmacy of your choice (ex: Chewy) IF prescription request is submitted within 7 days of adoption. Please consult with your primary veterinarian as soon as possible to form a long-term plan of your pet's care and to refill the prescription diet and medication, if needed.Approved prescription diet(s) for this animal:Hill's c/d Multicare DietRoyal Canin SO DietPurina ProPlan UR Diet*Hyperthyroidism (too much thyroid hormone) is a common problem in older cats. Symptoms of hyperthyroidism can include increased activity & vocalizing, weight loss despite a good appetite, increased thirst and increased urination. The condition is diagnosed by combination of physical examination and laboratory tests, especially a T4 test.Treatment for this condition typically involves the daily administration of an oral thyroid medication (methimazole); however, other treatments are available and may be discussed with your veterinarian. Each cat may respond a little differently and therefore adjustments in dose or frequency are often necessary. It is essential that a veterinarian monitor the cat's response to treatment (both with physical exam and blood tests) to determine if the dose needs to be adjusted. Once the cat is regulated on a "maintenance dose", blood test rechecks should be done at regular 6 to 12 month intervals. It is important to remember that while most cats respond well to treatment, the condition is not being "cured". Daily oral treatment and regular veterinary rechecks will need to be continued for the life of the cat.We recommend that you talk to your regular veterinarian before making a decision to adopt a cat with this condition. Story
Hello, I'm Amy. I'm a bit shy, so you might not see me right away. I like to perch up high and observe my surroundings before I feel comfortable. Once I've had a chance to get to know you, I'll come down to say hello. I'm a mellow and gentle soul, preferring quiet moments and soft petting. I may not be the first to greet you, but give me time, and you'll see my sweet nature shine through. Adopting me means giving a home to a cat who will appreciate your patience and reward you with unconditional love.

Story
My name is Brewster and I enjoy the company of other cats and would love another friend who is feline leukemia positive or a person to dote on me. I am a little shy around new people but I know the right one is out their looking for me. I was told I have feline leukemia as a young kitten but I am growing into a big beautiful cat. Brewster enjoys wand toys and being pet and has been in excellent health. Brewster also is very food motivated for anyone looking to be friends with this big ball of fluff.
