There was no sign of a Mama cat and Spencer was clearly hungry and scared. Fortunately for Spencer, she was found by one of our volunteer fosters!  Spencer easily adapted to her foster home and is very playful, however she is also introverted. She is now six months old and plays with everything from a laser light to tennis balls or just a piece of plastic. She enjoys the company of the other kitties in her home and is unbothered by her foster doggo. She is not a lap kitty but enjoys her humama and sometimes sleeps under the bedcovers. Spencer needs a companion animal to help maintain her socialization. As an only pet we fear she may revert to being shy and withdrawn.  Does your kitty need a playmate? Or maybe you're in the market for two kitties? If either of these is you, Spencer might be your girl.  Our adoption fees are $75.00 for any kitty 6 months of age or older. $85 for kittens under 6 months of age. Included in each adoption: age appropriate shots, microchip, and spay/neuter surgery. All kitties are litterbox trained. Prior to meeting or adopting any of our wonderful kitties, we ask that you please fill out our online Cat Adoption Application on our website aaFlorida.org/adopt.  There is a link on the top of the home page. Luan and his 3 brothers were rescued from a feral colony when they were about 8wks old. They were sick and not so happy to be in the company of humans. They are now healthy, fully vetted and learning that us humans aren’t so bad after all. He is still a bit skiddish and doesn’t seek out attention, but he sinks right in when he gets in your arms. He is definitely a mellow old soul and we expect that, with time and the right humans, he will blossom into great companion. Our adoption fees are $75.00 for any kitty 6 months of age or older. $85 for kittens under 6 months of age. He is a sweet boy who loves petting and sitting in your lap. He is a big boy at 15#, but healthy. Complete health checkup with no issues in Spring 2022. He will need a little time to adjust to new surroundings. A quiet home would be best for Cosmo. He's purrfect as a solo kitty, but he probably would adjust to being around one or two other cats with proper introduction.
