Story
Chicken is a sweet 4 year old cat who loves to snuggle and get pets! She loves attention and a nice lap to curl up on. She is a great companion pet. She is talkative and curious! She loves to be brushed (she has the softest fur) and play. Her favorite toys are a laser pointer and her fluff ball. She needs a family who can give her plenty of love and affection. She thrives best in a home without other pets. She is the most loving cat, looking for a loving family to take her home.

Story
Hope is very drawn to humans--she's always the first to run to you when you come home. She loves to play with her sister, Gracie Mae, and is also a foodie! One of her favorite things is getting kisses from her human. She can be a little shy when first meeting new people, but she is very social with those she knows. Interested in adopting? Story
Meet Luffy! This guy with the crazy ear hair is on the smaller side and does take a little more time to warm up/settle in than his siblings. When he's comfortable, he is super cuddly and loves to hang out and chill in your lap. He has the cutest little meow and is more on the vocal side. He may be smaller, but he doesn't mind competing with his siblings for his chance with the toy. Luffy would do best adopted with his sibling (Stewie) who can help him to feel secure in a new environment. Otherwise, he will need another kitty in the home to play with teach him and teach him what he needs to know. Interested in adopting? Please visit our website at www.thecatsmeowanimalrescue.org to fill out an application and view our weekly scheduled adoption events. One application covers all cats and kittens staying at The Crumbs and Whiskers Cat and Kitten Cafe, those staying at our Petco locations, and those in individual foster homes. Questions? Story
Meet Coco! She and her brother, Mason, were rescued from a citizen in Bakersfield who was secretly feeding them, but wanted a better life for them. Coco is a shy and quiet girl. She has beautiful long fluffy hair. She is a lot smaller than Mason and was most likely the runt of her litter. She loves food more than anything and to run around to make her brother chase her. She follows everything Mason does and goes where he goes. She doesn't like fast movements or loud noises and will hide if frightened. She is slowly getting used to be pet and held. She is only vocal when asking to be fed and will share her food without an issue. The ideal home for Coco will be with Mason, and a quiet, mellow one. These two do love to play and are very entertaining! They are also fine with dogs. If you're looking for a fun little pair of siblings, consider Coco and Mason! Interested in adopting? Story
Ivy has such stunning green eyes! She is very loving and adores pets, ear rubs, and cuddles. She likes to sleep with her foster mom or sit or lay next to her during the day. She goes absolutely crazy for the lazy pen. She also loves her banana catnip kicker and feather toys on a stick. She is about 3 1/2 years old and had been a mama for so long, over and over from what we understand, until her trust was gained enough to be rescued. She is now spayed, healthy, and ready to finally find the loving home and life she deserves. Ivy gets along with other cats and would be fine adopted into a home that already has them. She also has an independent side, and would be okay adopted by herself as well. Either way, you're going to love this gorgeous girl! Ivy tested positive for FIV (see below), which isn't a big deal; she will just need a good, healthy diet and to stay inside so that she's not exposed to illnesses. Fiv+ kitties can live with cats that are negative as long as there is no aggression. *FIV, or Feline Immunodeficiency Virus, is transmitted through a deep bite or in utero. It is typically seen in cats that have spent a great deal of time outdoors where the likelihood of altercation with other (male) cats is high. Cats with this condition can lead long, normal lives, but it is important to keep them indoors and healthy. FIV leads to increased susceptibility to infections and other diseases; if the cat is fed a high quality diet and kept free from parasites and other dangers, then the quality and length of life is excellent. Ivy is not on any medications. Interested in adopting? Please visit our website at www.thecatsmeowanimalrescue.org to fill out an application. One application covers all cats and kittens staying at The Crumbs and Whiskers Cat and Kitten Cafe, those staying at our Petco locations, and those in individual foster homes. Questions? Story
Daisy Mae is a sweet little lady! She loves to hang around with humans and other cats, but gets separation anxiety easily, so she’ll need to be able to keep an eye on you even when she’s taking a nap. She is a big cuddler and loves to take naps on your chest. Her favorite toy is the sparkler, but she is happy to play with any and every toy you can give her! She loves playing with her brother, Billy, and would do best being adopted with him if there isn't already a cat in the home. Daisy is a beautiful little flower who will bloom before your very eyes!
