Story
Peaches is a young, long haired cat that wants her own permanent home. She is not real wild about change. When she came to us, she was a touch upset, but she soon showed how loving she could be. However, we soon discovered what made her so upset, the other cats. She doesn't care for the other cats at our shelter. She has a strong desire to be an only cat. She has found her a nice, sunny spot in the window above the hullabaloo that goes on below. However, we know that she wants to get her own home. She may be able to live with one other cat, we just are not sure at this point. She is lovely. She likes pets and doesn't mind being picked up. Peaches adoption fee is $150. She is spayed, vaccinated, combo tested and has a microchip. If you'd like to meet her, please fill out the application and contact us about setting up a time to meet.https://forms.gle/kVH3cafPYrQrJYQ58

Story
Meet Sparrow — From Shy Beginnings to a Happy-Go-Lucky BoySparrow is a completely new cat compared to the frightened kitten who first came to us. He and his “Bird” litter were born to an unsocialized stray mama. Some of the kittens survived, some didn’t, none of them were in great health when they arrived. We worked long and hard—first to get Sparrow strong and healthy, and then to help him learn that people can be gentle and kind.In the beginning, Sparrow spent most of his time tucked in the back of his kennel, avoiding human touch. He had needed so much medication as a young kitten that he came to associate people with unpleasant experiences. But once he was healthy and fully vetted, everything changed. We let him out of his kennel to interact with other cats and volunteers, and Sparrow began to discover that life could be fun.Today, Sparrow is a happy-go-lucky fellow. He’s still not wild about being held, so we wouldn’t call him a cuddler just yet—but he does love being petted. He enjoys playing, running, exploring, and interacting with other cats. And in a real home with consistent love, there’s no telling just how much he’ll continue to blossom. He also has the most amazing fluffy tail—he proudly shows it off like a little peacock!Sparrow is neutered, vaccinated, combo tested, and microchipped.Adoption fee: $200Come meet this handsome boy—you just might fall head over paws in love with him.

Story
Meet Peppa – The Chatty Gamer Girl Peppa is a 4-year-old medium-haired tabby who lives to play! She’s full of personality, always ready for fun, and never shy about speaking her mind. This social girl gets along great with cats, dogs, and other animals, and she’s a pro at using her litterbox. When she’s not busy playing, Peppa loves to curl up on or near her human — she makes the perfect napping buddy. Just don’t expect her to be your Fortnite partner… she prefers pressing random buttons and “helping” in her own special way! Peppa has been spayed, vaccinated, dewormed, microchipped and is FIV/FeLV negative. Adoption Fee: $125 Apply today at roseacresrescue.org Peppa’s ready to bring laughter, love, and a little bit of mischief into your home!October 19, 2025, 9:28 pm
