Leo: 1 year old orange cat. Neutered. Found him as a stray in Mexico as a kitten and brought him here. He is extremely cuddly, sweet and wants your love 24/7. Very playful loves annoying his sister Nala and jumping at any bug he finds. Bonded to his sister Nala would prefer to rehome together. They love each other!

When we checked the security footage, we determined that someone had very carefully wrapped up their carrier in a nice, warm blanket, and placed it on the top shelf of a cabinet on the deck by the back door. Unfortunately, someone else came along and grabbed the blanket, tumbling the carrier and babies onto the floor...then just left them there! When the volunteers came to open the store, they scooped these sweet girls up and called their now foster mama, who warmed them up, fed them well, and made sure to get them healthy and ready for new families! Luciano loves to be petted and will climb up in your lap for all the attention you will lavish on him. While he enjoys his breakfast and dinner, he mostly loves to be hand fed his churu treat so he can have his back stroked at the same time. Four little tabby kittens were spotted in the yard of a resident who had seen a feral mama kitty have several litters in her neighborhood. She reached out to Ventura County Trap & Rescue, and they sent out a trapper who caught these little guys pretty easily! That was a good sign, the trapper knew it meant they had probably been handled, so she reached out to us and despite them being already @ 8 weeks old, they were placed in a foster home. It didn't take long for everyone to realize these babies were destined for greatness...or at least great homes! Within a couple days of being crated in the middle of the action in their foster home, they were singing arias and choruses for their foster family, begging for attention and...well...treats of course! Found outside at less than 3-weeks old by a good samaritan, AFTER their feral mama had been trapped & spayed then released, these little ones needed some help to grow up strong, and the volunteers at CCR were happy to help. Once settled, Finn & Sawyer's foster family quickly learned that they were up for any adventure...from climbing down the side of an end-table and hunkering down under the sofa, to repeatedly pushing through the bars of their kitten enclosure 3-feet off the ground, only to be found curled up on a floor cushion under a desk, fast asleep...these two made it known they would not be contained.
