They have the tufty ears and fluffy tails of their Maine Coon cousins, only without the maintenance needed for a true longhair. They came to the Haven when their guardians moved to a place that didn't allow cats. Honey is the spokescat of the pair, the first one to come out and investigate. She'll be your best Kitty Admin once she's settled in with her new family, following you around and helping with everything. She paves the way for the ironically named Thor who's more the God of Small Spaces than he is the God of Thunder 😻. He needs to know he's safe, but once he's sure of that, he's a total Snuggle Bunny, ready to cuddle on your lap every chance he gets. At about a year old, these catolescents are still kittens at heart. Get out the kitty wands and they will love to chase and pounce, entertaining you for hours! They'll blossom into their best selves in a quieter family that gives both of them the time to gain confidence at their own pace, especially Thor. They may be able to adjust to nice cats like them but probably no active dogs. I was helping my friend try and trap her cat that escaped during a move. We caught this guy instead of her cat. She says hes been living rough for a while. He is pretty stressed/shut down, but not aggressive at all. He loves pets once he knows you. Eats well, uses the liter box, very quiet. He is very skinny, but he is huge, and gorgeous! Given time to decompress, he is gonna make someone a loving lap full!

Meow! My name is Lady Bank! I am a pretty petite DMH Tortoiseshell girl with really unique markings. My kittens and I were dumped in the desert in Texas, saved by a local rescue, and transferred to Wild Blue Cats here in Colorado, where we have been living indoors with a human foster family. I am about 3 years old (DOB 5/21/21) and I&#39m a little timid at first. I do like humans, but I&#39m not quite ready for close snuggling. I like to hang out in the same room with the humans, meow at them, and rub against their legs to say hello or when it&#39s mealtime. My comfort and trust is growing every day though and now I am more at ease with full body pets. However, I am not fully trusting when you pick me up yet. I am very interested in catching the feather wand and love my wet food. I am going to need plenty of time to blossom into the pampered pet I was meant to be, and I know I will get there with a little patience, a calm household, and lots of love. I&#39m looking for a patient and loving home, preferably with older understanding kids (8+ years) where I can continue to learn to trust and feel safe and know that this will be my forever home.
