Story
Meet Stardust, a tiny 2-month-old miracle who truly lives up to her name. This sweet girl came to us from the county shelter, where she was heartbreakingly scheduled to be euthanized due to a severe upper respiratory infection. But Stardust wasn’t ready to give up — she fought hard, made a full recovery, and is now healthy, happy, and ready for her second chance at life. Stardust is a shy little soul who needs someone patient and kind to help her build confidence. Once she feels safe, she melts for gentle pets and will gladly show her appreciation for wet food (her absolute favorite!). With time, love, and a soft voice, Stardust will blossom into the affectionate companion she’s meant to be. She’s living proof that even the smallest spark can shine the brightest.

Story
Ma Petite came to us from life outside, and right away we knew something wasn’t quite right. She was unusually small for her age and had the look of a “dwarf” kitten, which prompted further testing. Bloodwork gave us answers. Ma Petite has hypothyroidism. Hypothyroidism is a condition where the thyroid does not produce enough hormones to support normal growth and metabolism. In Ma Petite’s case, it affected her size and development, but the good news is that it is very manageable. She only needs a daily oral medication, which is relatively inexpensive, along with routine vet checkups to monitor her levels. With treatment, she can live a happy, comfortable life. Outside of her diagnosis, Ma Petite is simply a sweet kitten. She loves the company of other cats and does well around dogs. She can be a bit shy when meeting new people, but treats are the fastest way to her heart. Once she feels safe, her gentle and affectionate nature really shines. Ma Petite is looking for a home that understands her medical needs and sees her for who she truly is. She is not fragile, broken, or defined by her diagnosis. She is just a little girl who needs daily meds, regular vet care, and a family willing to love her exactly as she is. If you are open to a kitten who may be a bit different but just as deserving, Ma Petite might be your perfect match.
