Story
At the start of the new year, we welcomed 10 senior cats who desperately needed a soft place to land. These sweet seniors are undersocialized and frightened, and they need patient, loving homes where they can finally feel safe. They all came from the same home and would likely adjust more easily with another feline companion by their side. If you have an open spot on your couch and room in your heart, please consider helping one of these cats spend their golden years surrounded by comfort, kindness, and love!

Story
Meet Jewel Jewel is a gorgeous 3-year-old black smoke cat with a personality as striking as her looks. She hasn’t learned to accept petting yet and still likes to keep her distance, but with patience and understanding, she has the potential to blossom in the right home. She enjoys treats and the occasional play session, and she gets along well with other cats. Jewel is best suited for an experienced, cat-savvy adopter who appreciates a little spice and enjoys the challenge of helping a shy or “spicy” cat feel safe and secure.

Story
Lola is a pretty, but shy little girl from a trailer park. Her mother was TNRed (Trap Neuter Release) after her litter was born. But she was a bit older before she was finally trapped. She really learned to relax in a quiet foster home, but hides in the unfamiliar shelter environment. Shes looking for a quiet home with someone patient. She loves being brushed and churus. Come see her Wednesday through Sunday noon to 3, Saturday noon to 4.

Story
Tippy and his sister Phoebe were originally surrendered to HOPE as kittens because their owners were moving. They found a home together. They made their way back to us after being abandoned alone in their home by their last owner when they moved out of their apartment and left them behind and they deserve so much better. They are cat and dog friendly and love attention. Tippy and Phoebe are both fixed, vaccinated, tested for feline leukemia and feline aids (felv/fiv) and microchipped. If interested in adding Tippy or Phoebe to your family, please contact   321-271-4041   or email hopeforbrevard@gmail.com January 17, 2026, 1:05 am
