At 3 ounces my foster mom had everything I needed including lots of love for teeny tiny kittens! I may have been a scared and tiny kitten but now I am ready to be the love of your life. My fuzzy long fur is stunning if I do say so myself – I get lots of cuddles from my humans while pretending to be a ferocious Klingon. (yes – my foster family are Trekkies!). I purr loudly too! She came to us at just 4 months old after being found abandoned in a carrier behind a Publix in Plantation scared, confused, and unsure of the world. Now, over 8 years later, Prissy is still waiting for someone to give her the safety and security she’s never truly known. She’s been adopted twice, and each time returned, not because of anything she did wrong, but due to life changes in the adopters’ circumstances. That kind of loss takes a toll, and Prissy is understandably slow to trust. She’s shy, very fearful, and needs more time than most to come out of her shell. But once she does, you’ll find a cat who just wants to feel safe and loved by you. Prissy is looking for a quiet, patient home with someone who truly understands that trust isn’t given, it’s earned. Stuart was found along his brother and sister hidden under a tree on someone’s property. They were at the time around 3 weeks old. The foster parent bottle fed them for a few days, and they rapidly were able to eat solid food and use a litter box. Although Stuart loves his new playpen, he loves to run around the house with his brother and sister. He has toys, but he loves cardboard boxes and crumbled pieces of paper. As all kittens, he is curious, adventurous, and funny. He will provide much joy and happiness to anyone who adopts him.
